Owners very friendly and keen to make stay comfortable

Look no more!!! Stay here! You will love every minute of your stay. We stayed for 3 nights. We slept so well and it was so nice and quiet and comfortable. The duvet covers were so great and everything was so clean. The view is amazing! The breakfast was perfection! We are already dreaming of coming back!

Definitely happy with our stay here. Amazing view, great location for trails, and a quiet nights rest, plus it’s close to two popular cities. Has everything you need nearby. The sauna was an added benefit, what a cute setup! We enjoyed it twice during our 6 day stay and it was an amazing way to unwind. The breakfast has everything you need and left us feeling full most days until dinner. The only downside is the walls seem pretty thin and so it can be noisy if there are other noisy guests. There’s also no blackout curtains so expect to be woken up with the rising sun! Big thanks to Andi for his hospitality. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Almost in the middle of nowhere , and we were completely okay with that 😍. It’s a great place to get away and doing some adventuring outside !! We would’ve done more if we brought proper shoes😂 . The owners were so nice and had a drink with them upon checkin. The husband also told us about the food house next door and it did not disappoint . Overall a great location to do some hiking and eat good food. How many people can say they ate dinner in an old 1600 customs house ?! And the views you wake up to in the morning...priceless .

Everything was fine except it pretty far from city. They don’t supply dinner. You may either have dinner in the city before arriving, about 10 miles away, or eat next door restaurant. Quite and pretty country environment we like.

Has a great location with amazing views of the mountain. Near hiking trails, great food and within short driving distance to Innsbruck. Great for other outdoor activities such as biking and skiing (in season)

This hotel was wonderful. Mari and Marco made you feel totally at home. Location was close to Mittenwald in Germany as well as other towns in Austria. The Geisterklamm (ghost gorge) was a short walk down the road and a definite must do. The walking /cross country ski paths provided amazing scenery. Emil was the perfect host at the restaurant next door (Gasthaus Klammgeist Alte Zollhaus) and the food wonderful. We loved this hotel so much we stayed one more night than planned!!

Nice pension in secluded valley. Mittenwald can be reached driving 3 kilometers trough Forest on a narrow Road. Good and tasty Breakfest, fantastic Restaurant next door. Very nice Finnish host. No Elevators which makes es hard for people with walking disabilities to managed narrow stairs.. Help with luggage was provided by the Lady of the house. Linen's and towls are changed on request.Perfect place for people who love outdoor recreation.

Mary was very cordial and helpful. We especially enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant next door and our breakfast. Beautiful area. Rooms were very clean.

Afterwards we were taken to our room and were not shown or told of any of the ameneties. The bed was very uncomfortable. Slept less than two hours. At check out, we were given a form to fill and then left alone without knowing what to do with it. The owner was sitting on the next room with her back towards us and never once acknowleged our presence or apologize for the confusion the night before.

Great place to stay. We stayed one night and arrived late, the host stayed awake to greet us and get us settled in. Breakfast was filling with a lot to offer for choices. We have been to Germany and Austria before and this was by far one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. They had parking for our car and our room had a beautiful Mountain View, just wish we hadn’t more time to stay!
