The staff were friendly, but the room had numerous issues. The AC didn’t ever get the room cool, there were hairs and a bug found in the bed before I had gotten in it, and there were a couple geckos on the walls in the room.

Really nice place to stay in luang prabang walking distance to old town, although it's a 15-20min walk it can be too much in the heat but you can get a tuk tuk there. I had a double room with balcony it was very nice but the only thing was the noise. Room was facing the road so it was very noisy constantly with cars and scooters driving past, if you need a quiet room ask for a room not facing the road. I was moved to ground floor which was nice and quiet.

It is located on the way from the slow boat port to downtown, hence the tuck-tuck driver can drop you literally at its door. The neighborhood isn’t as nice as in the peninsula, but it is safe and at walking distance from downtown. Overall, this hotel was very good value for the money.
