Cannot recommend this hotel enough! From its location, staff, food, amenities, everything was just exceptional. I must make a special mention to the staff who could not do enough for you. Kind, polite, attentive and could not do enough for you and always with a smile on their face. If you are considering this hotel, trust me it’s a gem!

Some of the staff were amazing! The check in lady was so helpful and kind. As was the lady at the main entrance who always helped us super fast. The gentleman that dealt with taxis and cars outside - the main entrance manager was really rude and did not help at all. The concierge also never got back to us on the questions and help we needed. The room was very clean and service was great. We could not use the ocean for an unknown reason, no comp for that inconvenience. The outdoor pool was not clean, seemed like the filtering system was not working properly. The water was murky and felt untreated. The staff at the pool were exceptional and super helpful. The hotel itself is a little dated, but very clean and organised. For the price it was not worth it, I would recommend hotels in Al Maryah more.

Butler service was a life saver if working to get a decent coffee, hospitality was next to nothing. Rooms are okay, some wear and tear to carpets and marks to furniture so some tlc is needed, but otherwise it was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic with a lot of variety - only issue is if your on your own they seem to sit you where all the foot traffic is and you get a little forgotten about (aside paying a lot to stay here, don’t forget solo travellers are also important!). Beach and pool is great, spa is small and limited but clean. Great location.

A lovely week spent at tue St Regis. The teams at the hotel, terrace restaurant and the beach club were fantastic throughout our stay. Really welcoming and helpful throughout. We stayed half board and my only comment would be to extend this to the italian restaurant which is also in the hotel. This being restricted to the terrace restaurant only is a bit restrictive and despite having dinner included we had dinner one night in the Italian restaurant to break up the monotony. That being said the food in the terrace restaurant was really good and there we an abundance of options. The breakfast was fantastic and the section just for pastries is more than tempting and certain tastes as good as they look. A lovely week, with great food and fantastic service.

A really excellent hotel with "our" own butler who took care of all your questions and a beautiful beach with lots of space for ourselfes. The invitation to the “Evening Ritual of Champagne Sabering”, where a champagne bottle was decapitated with a sword, was brilliant. The stay there was simply relaxing and wonderful.

Very poor checkin and checkout process. 20m on each side. Even a budget hotel has better systems to simplify the process. After a long journey the last thing you want to do is wait so long to get to your room. Hotel is nice, albeit a bit dated. Beach club is great but takes 15m walk from room. Catch and service there was 5star. Best part of trip.
