I had a very comfortable stay in a large than expected room.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff were really friendly and helpful,
The morning walk on the beach just outside the hotel was spectacular as was the view at breakfast.
I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We came to St. Andrew’s for our son’s wedding. We’ve stayed at Hotel du Vin several times and it’s always special. It’s our favorite place to stay in St. Andrew’s.

We just stayed here last week while on a 2 week tour of Scotland. We were playing golf at St Andrews so this location could not be beat. However, that’s where the good ends. The service here was terrible!!! Never have I stayed in a hotel where my presence was not only ignored but they really couldn’t care less that I was standing there. The hotel management really needs to address this with staff. It was not just the front desk staff but the restaurant wait staff as well. Other things to note about this hotel before staying here that we wish we would have known. Parking is a nightmare! It is street parking in front of the hotel and a public parking garage around the corner. There are stairs to enter the hotel so you have to drag all your luggage up to check in and there is no bell staff so you will have to haul it all to your room as well. Please note there is also not even a “parking area” for check in, so you may have a few blocks to walk from your parking spot, just to check in. The room was gorgeous and very modern/updated. All in all I felt like the staff knows the location is so great for golfers that they don’t really need to include service as an amenity.

Really nice stay in one of my favourite places in Scotland. Hotel was spotless and room was great. Got the feeling the staff were short as they seemed to be rushing around a lot. This is my 7th stay at this hotel and slightly disappointing that they have no way of recognising me

The Hotel du Vin in St. Andrews was conveniently located to walk to the beach, the golf course and local shopping. My breakfast there was delicious, and enjoyed the bar as well. My room was clean and comfortable and overlooked the sea. It was a great experience. I would stay there again.

Great location. No aiir conditioning in the room we are put in. No elevator to the basement, so tracking bags was not fun. Staff nice and helpful. Riom was clean and comfortable.

Lovely room on the surface and the staff were absolutely delightful from check-in to bar. However, the noise from external air conditioning units combined with a complete lack of curtains or blackout blinds meant the room was utterly unfit for purpose. I ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. I left my number with the front desk for a chat and to arrange a refund and messaged via hotels.com as well but nothing heard by 5pm the following day. Very disappointing.
