Excellent stay at the Hotel Doral Guarujá. Fantastic location on the beach and you can stay by the pool or use the beach opposite via a kiosk for drinks and food. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Guarujá is a good place to visit too if you love the beach.

It was good - A nice stay - We were slightly disappointed about some things - For the money we were paying we were expecting a slightly more luxury experience but it was really just regular. Just little things could have notched it up (like complementary water bottles; laundry service or facility). It looks good & the location was perfect.

Great location and good service. One thing that I was disappointed with is the Bathroom. The showerhead broke down and the the ceiling has molds.

Upon initial arrival, the hotel could not find my reservation. This was quickly resolved. The housekeeping could be improved. I can say with 99% certainty that my bedsheets were not changed the whole week I was at the hotel. The same marks/stains were on the sheets and pillow cases the whole time. Sink in the room is very small and does not drain well. The mini bar was well stocked.

The resort is very well located , spacious inside, clean , comfortable . The downside was that you have to pay extra for everything , bucket of ice R$5,00 , extra to use the jacuzzi, to park . Also, costumer service was Okay, not too friendly and not very helpful at the pool area. Would also say is more a family hotel than young people

The reservation was for a ocean side view, but the roon they gave us was with internal view. During the check-out I have asked and the answer received in the front desk was that I should have returned and asked. I replied that it was only one nigth stand, and I saw only in the check-out day and When I got in the room, I was not sure about it because waw checking with and without ocean view. But, when I saw it I would like to have some refound, because it was $10 dollar difference, but didnt receive any offset in the bill.

All towels were very old and the bathroom were full of mold. Honestly all of our family didn’t take off sandals when taking a shower. And when we did check in, we were told to wait another 30min even after official check-in time. I have to say that price and quality are completely unbalanced. It is very difficult for us to come back to this hotel next year. We wish that they will get back previous service and quality they had.

Overall a great hotel for the price and location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they secured our bags, parked our vehicle and allowed us to change and use the pool until our room was ready. My only complaints were the ocean view room we had has a beautiful balcony which has a large tree obstructing most of the view as well as looking down on a rusted aluminum roof. Otherwise, it is right across the street from the beach and the hotel has chairs and umbrellas for use at no extra charge. The free WiFi was difficult and cumbersome to use. The free breakfast was excellent Brazilian style.
