Room was very nice. Very large and accommodating. Staff was very nice. The only problem we encountered was no towels were in the bathroom for our use. But they apologized and have us what we needed right away. The area had lots of restaurant to choose from. And the drive to Solvang was very straight, easy and under 30 minutes.
I would have no problem booking a stay here again.

This is an older Hotel that is in need of some TLC. The service was great, the rooms big, somewhat quiet and walking distance to shops and food. The room needed some touch up but everything worked. There was no usb or modern connection for phone and only a few available outlets. This was a good cheap place to stay and then go.

So the price was okay but for the quality of the room and amenities should have a $25 a night! 1 of the 2 beds was caved in the middle, the towel bar in the bathroom was loose and constantly fell, the water would puddle up during shower, the spout for the tub popped off if the pressure for shower was too much (even cut my daughters toe in the middle of her shower), the hot water facet rotated continuously and you had to find the sweet spot to make water turned off, no coffe machine in room which would have been fine if the advertised coffe/tea bar was actually more than sugar and machine with hot water and coffee (no choices of coffee or tea or creamers and very basic foam cups). No turn down service was given for frezh toqels not to mention for a 3 person stay they provided 2 regular size towels a d 1 of each wash cloth and hand towel, i had to go ask for more towels and only gave me 2. The desk chair was all ripped up and raggy looking and the desk drawer would slide open because of a broken rail. Definitely not even exposed outlets/usb outlets for charging more than 2 devices, there was even a reading lamp and chair but no outlet nearby to plug said lamp in!!

The pool & gym was closed which was a huge dIs appointment.. they need to UPDATE the website .. but other than that I would stay there again comfy , spacious and I slept and didn’t get woken up by noise A HUGE PLUS CHECK OUTS @ NOON !!!

The lady who checked us in was absent of any friendliness, I explained I requested a first floor when reserving because of my disability, she proceeded to give us a room on the second floor (no elevators) after 15 minutes of her searching for a new room for, mind you there was 4 vehicles if that parked on the property, we finally got our key. Room was very old but clean. Bed was horrible but lots of pillows. The day while visiting our family I got a call asking if I was checking out, I was a little confused because I booked for two night, paid for two nights. She said there was a note from the night before saying g I was checking out early, I asked her if they had refunded me a night, she said no, I said that’s cause I’m staying two. I asked her would my key still work as they have me checking out she assured me it would that she would fix everything, well as expected when we got back (late) from visiting the family in town our key wouldn’t work. Duh, like I wasn’t already expecting that. When up to the desk again same girl, no apology no nothing except a new key. Check out is late which is nice but we didn’t get to utilize. Cheapest in town.

Room, bathroom, carpet and the shower curtain have a bad odor as if never cleaned. Beaten up furniture. No ironing board, no breakfast, room entrance on backside are unmaintained & gross. Poor air-conditioning with very old noisy unit. Not worth what they charge you for. Will not recommend to anyone.

Immigrant farm workers rented out the entire bottom floor and were hanging outside their motel doors. You get what you pay for.

Everything about the hotel (especially the room) needs to be redone with new carpet and necessities.
There was no phone charger available and had to plug in to TV which it had to leave on all night to keep the charge going on my phone.

Room was clean, comfortable and of expected quality but the inn as a whole was a bit rundown and outer doors to the building did not lock properly. Still, a reasonable value for the money, and many motels of similar pricing don’t have outer building doors anyhow. Check out was at noon by default which was great.

Stay was good pool and gym were closed did not know about this before bookkng until we were checked in already. There was an uneven area of concrete outside in parking lot where my spouse tripped and fell. Over all it is a good area and good hotel if these issues can be fixed it be perfect!
