The room was gorgeous although light pollution was awful from the surrounding buildings. The tram is outside and all day and night the sound from the crossing was loud, especially at night. I recommend earplugs and eyemask. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is included but poor. Turkey sausage awful. No bacon. Hot was was lukewarm at best. Staff were lovely and food in the bar was great. Tim Hortons next door. Walk to lots of places. Studio Bell 3 mins. Calgary tower 12 mins.

Nice big rooms good location

Everything was good. The room the building the location and service as well. Should have a bot more variety in the breakfast though.

Easy comfortable

This was a very pleasant surprise. Parking is always a thing in Calgary and we were able to park across the street for $6 a day. The room itself had a wonderful view, super comfy bed and it was so clean! Plus breakfast! Will definitely book in here again.

Very close to Bow River and lovely parks in area. Excellent location if you like walking and sightseeing.

I did not have the best experience checking in. I shared my experience with the hotel supervisor, and Nelson was absolutely fantastic. He took time to understand the situation and offered solutions to make my stay better. He also referred me to speak with the hotel manager, Noel, who also was willing to help make the remainder of my stay a better experience. I was impressed with both of them as they went above and beyond to make things right. Their efforts convinced me to consider booking Hilton again in the future. Unfortunately the location of this hotel is near a shelter in downtown Calgary. It felt unsafe to be outside, as there were people from the shelter around the area.

Lots of homeless people around the hotel premise. Our rental car was scratched on the driver side of the window. Not a safe and a secure place to keep your car, The place is not a secure environment. The property layout for one suite bedroom is a little off! My seven years old, who is about 4 ft tall, she can’t reach the shampoo and conditioner, while she is taking a shower. Only hotel I came across that still uses a bar of soap! Our first Homewood suite hotel in Calgary, where the Kitchen supply is not stocked with paper towel, liquid dish soap! Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Not every Homewood suite had this issue, the Calgary downtown location comes in the bottom of the tier. The hotel was near attractions but I bit scary to walk in the streets of downtown as there were lots of homeless loitering around.

I enjoy the stay

We booked a 5 night stay at the hotel. We were asked at check in if we would like room cleaned daily or alternate days. We requested daily cleaning. However, room was cleaned twice in 5 days, second time only after we complained. Very small breakfast area. Just keep standing for a table to be free and then for it to be cleaned. Terrible breakfast, no English breakfast tea unless you are ready to fight for it and wait. Hardly any options and closed sharp at 9:00 am even if 20 people were eating at the time. One small area for bread so you have to keep waiting for replacement when finished. Only one person helping with breakfast and too rude, possibly due to stress of being overworked. Poor cleanliness. It was such a poor experience, we decided to stay with our friends on the last night and checked out in the morning. Would not consider again and would not recommend.
