We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Horizon.

This place was phenomenal. It’s location is right in front of the beach and includes chairs and umbrellas. It seems to be a small family run business and they were all so kind and outgoing. It’s a short (less than 5 minute) and easy walk to the port restaurants and stores or can stay on beach front and eat there. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Crete, I would definitely be staying at this place.

Maria and family are so friendly and accommodating. We had great communication prior to arrival and were greeted by Maria on arrival. Maria gave us great recommendations for restaurants and explained the amenities of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and rooms are very spacious. The shower had great pressure and the partial sea view from our private balcony was exceptional especially during sunset. There is a lovely 2nd floor terrace to enjoy the sea view and is where you will eat the delicious breakfast in the morning. We wish we had spent more time at the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to this slice of heaven.

Residence was great, very romantic. Sadly we arrived after the winery was closed. Must call tenant ahead of time to schedule arrival. Only concern we had is that the power went out around 6am, which caused two blinding emergency light bars to illuminate the room. Power remained off until we left.

Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue.

Right on the beach front, convenient for all the tavernas, supermarkets etc. Everything in easy reach. Great staff very friendly and spoke good English. Lovely part of Crete. Recommended.

Amazing hostess who was super nice and helpful to us. She was figuring out if we could get a refund because we left early but I don't know what happened to that. The weather was nice and the location was nice. Palaiochora is very beautiful and has nice beaches.
