It was an amazing stay away from the busy city. Staff very courteous and polite. Food was good depending on what you order. It had a very quiet relaxing atmosphere. Spa experience was good, but there's room for improvement with massage quality, I've had better ones elsewhere.

Our stay in An Lam Retreats Saigon River was simply amazing.
A place only comparable with unique resort places in Bali, Costa Ricas jungle. We have never been in a place like this amazing place. Trranquil position outside HOCM City, but the boat will bring you into the center of district 1 several times of the day.
The retaurant, the pool area, the facility, the smell, senses, the interiordesign was amazing. We wanted to buy a lot of the interior home with us. Our Suite looking over Saigon River was so beautiful maybe some of the best we ever tried...

Stuff at An Lam is exceptionally service minded. For guests everything is possible, there’s always a smile and a good will to make your holidays experience top notch! Speed boats to the city are a gem but even if you’re arriving by the car it feels unreal when the gates opens and you feel like “welcome to Jurassic Park” with all the green surroundings. Main pool is lovely located under the trees as well. Good menu at the restaurant, no problems at all to make some adjustments for your kid. Rooms are cozy but could be isolated better. Mr Nhat at reception desk is easy best butler ever and beyond. I would say that of all five-stars hotels in Vietnam An Lam has this special vibe of experiencing something more. There’s a concept I simply like. /Bart

although it's 30 mins from the city center, it was a great resort and time for relaxation! They do have boat rides (on a schedule) to get to the city center which is really convenient!

The food is over priced for what it is. Had fish and chips where the batter was soggy along with the chips. Then had the melting chocolate pudding which was over cooked as was the garlic bread. You know even the staff know it’s bad when they fail to ask you how the food is.

Beautiful place to stay but transportation is very limited and the road to the retreat is unpaved and hard to drive through. The breakfast buffet is good but the restaurant food is really bad and very overpriced, which discouraged us from staying around the hotel. But boat to city and back is very limited so we had to use separate taxi,and many taxi drivers were unwilling to go to this area because it's far from the city centre and the road to the hotel is chaotic.

Breakfast was great.(not a buffet style)
For seafood grill dinner buffet, very delicious but the number of food was toooo small.
Drain in the private pool looks dangerous becaue it sucked water very strongly.

When I book I did said have a 4 years old,I payed online,when arrived at hotel,they ask for extra cost for the kid bed.
Book a pool Villa end up with a apartment pool ,not a villa ,with stair all around the pool not kid friendly.
Have to argue for get a pool Villa.
My wife get food poison and stay in bed for the most of it.
And for finishing one pair of sunglasses diseapered in the room the time we been to restaurant inside the resort.
Honestly not worth the money at all.

My partner and I spent 2 wonderful days at An Lam after returning to HCMC after a 3 day cycling trip through the Mekong Delta. We arrived hot, dusty and a bit sore, but An Lam eased all of this. What a beautiful, peaceful, amazing place! From the moment of arrival, when our personal "butler" Le welcomed us directly to our room and did our check-in procedure there while we rested comfortably, from the time we reluctantly left after Le arranged our taxi to the airport, we relaxed in the luxurious surroundings. The personal plunge pool immediately outside the door to our room helped us stay cool and comfortable, the pillowy bed helped us sleep soundly, and the restaurant amply satisfied us. I hope to be back at An Lam some day, preferably soon.

I have stayed in many hotels in the world and I could say the room I stayed in is one of the best if not the best. we had a wonderful experience. the room had an unbeatable layout and well thought out design and decor. it was most relaxing and it didn't cost an arm and leg. there was total privacy in the room I was given
