Perfect location for shopping the Magnificent mile!

Loved staying at Hotel Riu! Perfect location to get to all Chicago attractions. We stayed at the Hotel Riu in Madrid and were impressed so booked here in Chicago. It didn't disappoint! Great cozy rooftop!

Wonderful hotel with very pleasant staff! Very family friendly and great location! Easy walk to lots of popular attractions within 15-20 minutes with lots to see and do on the way. Super breakfast buffet made mornings relaxed as a family before we headed out for adventures!

This newly-renovated hotel is amazing! Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay. Lobby is spacious, smells good, tons of seating, we didn't have to wait to get checked in. Elevators are plentiful and FAST. We never had to wait for one and were always able to come and go quickly. I love the fact that all the floors are vinyl - carpet in hotels just grosses me out. Room was comfy and spacious. No shower door was a little weird, but I have no shower door at home so I guess I'm used to that. The included breakfast is practically a restaurant - you check in at a hostess station and wait to be seated. There are hot offerings (eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, waffles, vegetarian options) as well as cold options (fruits, cheeses, meats, spreads). There are pastries, donuts, oatmeal station, bread and bagels station, as well as all the juices, coffee, hot chocolate, tea bags, hot milk, hot water, the works. Location is central and great. I like that you have to scan the room key to go to your floor, that ensures safety. Rooftop bar offers beautiful views of the city as well as a glass walkout that is unique to this property. Overall a great stay and we will book again when we are back in town!

Great location and staff, hotel fairly new so there are some kinkst that they will iron out. Great lobbybar but dont miss the rooftop bar. Great brekfast.

Very sterile and low budget-feeling. It doesn’t have the comfort of American hotel chains. They don’t have room service or provide extra water. They also asked me to pay 50 dollars to check in before 12 (it was 11:30). Many things cost extra

Excellent hotel, the only comment I have is regarding the water pressure, that is the only thing that needs improvement.

Hotel is brand new,nice,good service,beautiful roof top restaurant,breakfast,comfort beds,and very good location. Shower was not good. I just don’t understand the Resort fee,it’s not a Resort style hotel,charge resort fee for 1 water bottle on first night only,towels in gym,gym,really any hotel in this standard have it,and do not charge $28 per night.

Everything was great except for the check-in process. There were 2 check-in clerks and it took forever, like more than 10 minutes to get both parties checked in.

Love this hotel! Everything about it was lovely. The staff were very friendly, the room was modern, cozy and the rooftop bar views were amazing! They offer a free buffet breakfast which has so many different options available. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Chicago!

Somehow, they learned it was my birthday. I was presented with a slice of cake at breakfast, and later a box of chocolates was delivered to my room. The staff was so sweet, and even the next day, asked how my day had gone.

The hotel is beautiful however the hot water was out my first day and nobody told us. My friend had to take a cold shower which she got sick from and I'm not sure anybody cared

Oh my... The good - staff is super friendly. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. Excellent bath towels. Very good location. The bad - Not on par with any other 4-star hotel I've stayed at (it's far below). Room feels cheap: thin blanket, thin pillows (both not pampering and pleasant to sink into). Headboard made of something that feels like linoleum. Weak water pressure. No vanity kit, kettle, or a proper coffee machine (there is a flimsy plastic decide that phill drop hot water very very very slowly. Breakfast was so bad that we decided to skip in the following days.

We loved our stay, great accommodations and location. The breakfast buffet was much more than we expected.

The iron and ironing board were not up to standard for a new state of the art hotel, outside of that minor quip, everything else was beyond exceptional.

It was an excellent stay. Rooms were clean and the hotel staff was very attentive. Excellent location. Would definitely stay here again when in Chicago

New hotel to downtown Chicago at a great price. They have a rooftop bar and a hotel bar on the 1st floor. I think both were opem until 11p. The complimentary buffet breakfast was amazing! Only valet parking avaliable for $65. I will stay here again.

The hotel is in a great area, very clean and recently renovated. Breakfast buffet is the best we've ever had-Lots of choices. Fun rooftop restaurant/bar.

Excellent property. Rooms were in great condition and well insulated from outdoor noise. Plenty of comfy towels. They recycle! Free breakfast was an amazing buffet ( well the resort fee likely covered part of this cost). All staff were friendly and helpful. Both bars had great service but you have to try the upstairs one on the 27th floor at night - awesome views. No parking so if you drive you will have to pay separately for a nearby garage. Very safe property with 24/7 front desk staff and door folks. Plus key card required to access all floors.

New hotel super clean, great customer service but the shower water was warm and the pressure was low. I will definitely stay here each time I’m in Chicago!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—close to major attractions and with easy access to public transportation. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The hotel is modern and clean. The staff was friendly. The only negative for me was not having a microwave in the room or anywhere that I could use to warm up my food.

The stay was very good. Everything is surprisingly clean. Rooftop provides a good option for food and entertainment.

Very comfortable spot off of Magnificent Mile. Great spot for a weekend get away right in the heart of the city.
