Great choice. Beautiful and peaceful, friendly place. Great location - walk to the shore or shops. Loved sitting on the porch. Did not try the fire pit but a nice area was available. Large rooms. Just a great place to recharge your batteries.

Sara was a wonderful host. Her breakfasts were amazing. The fire pit was a wonderful relaxing end to the day. Very convenient to shopping and dining.

The property location was excellent. An easy walk to town and harbor. It was quiet. We really enjoyed the evening happy hour and snacks. Wonderful breakfast. Host Sara and Rebecca were great!

We loved the staff and the wonderful breakfasts. The location couldn’t have been better. We also so enjoyed reading on the beautiful wrap-around porch. We would highly recommend it to our friends.

Very nice, cozy Inn and friendly staff. Well kept and convenient to restaurants and stores. Breakfast could be a bit more diverse.

This property is just wonderful. Staff and the entire atmosphere is so relaxing. Despite there being several other guests if felt as if you are alone. Staff are wonderful, kind and respectful. The location is right off the main shopping area of Bar Harbor which is convenient. The proximity does nothing but add to the property. It is private and quiet. A few block walk and a bike ride and you are in the park’s carriage roads. The rooms are clean and well appointed. A great trip! We will be back again.

The Yellow house Inn was the most perfect location in town. We were walking distance to all restaurants and water views! Sara is so sweet and accommodating. There are so many touches that make your stay that much more special. We will definitely be back.

The innkeeper, Sara, was very accommodating and pleasant. We stayed in the largest room which was very clean and fresh with a great bed. (no tub if that matters) The location was perfect for short walks to and around Bar Harbor and an easy drive to Acadia National Park. The most disappointing part of our stay was breakfast! If you’re looking for a fresh cooked breakfast, this is not the place. Stayed 4 mornings and had Hard Boiled eggs twice and quiche twice. Snacks and drinks were available 24/7. Visited the 1st week in October and this place isn’t cheap. All other areas of the Inn were very comfortable and relaxing. 7/10 rating for us who have visited B&B’s throughout the country.

We had a very short but absolutely amazing stay. Sara made us feel welcome, made us feel like a local and made our stay perfect. Definitely recommend the yellow house inn. Perfect 10!!!!!

Yellow House is a charming, very well cared for property in an excellent location. Manager Sara and her staff were friendly,relaxed and attentive. This made for a really great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow House Inn, it was the perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. We found it very quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast and happy hour were great. It's only a short walk to dining and shopping in Bar Harbor, or a short drive to Acadia National Park. Very relaxing, we would definitely stay there again.

The updates that were made to the Yellow House Inn are so nice!! The wrap around porch and new fire pit w/ new Adirondack chairs was our favorite place to hangout. Sara was a such great host and made us feel so at home. We had the Belmont room and it was so spacious! The bed was very comfortable (and I can’t say that often for many B&Bs). The complimentary well-stocked snack pantry and fridge with waters was the best. We definitely took advantage of it when we went on a hike in Acadia. Breakfast always had a tasty warmed baked good every morning and great coffee or espresso. (Plus other items to choose from) It’s in a great location where it’s set back from the road so you don’t hear too much traffic, but very close walking distance to everything downtown. Very peaceful in the morning as well. All in all, I highly recommend the Yellow House Inn for any trip to Bar Harbor and we’ll definitely come back again.

Lovely old home conveniently located to many restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. Daily breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The innkeepers, Pat and Chris were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend 😊

Lovely wraparound porch with cushioned rocking chairs where we drank wine every afternoon. This place was absolutely fantastic and we will definitely go back. The hosts were gracious and the breakfast was delicious!
