Overall a great hotel for solo travellers (esp. female) in terms of pricing and location. Bus stop to city and airport was 2 mins walk away. Staffs were accommodating and friendly as well. Room was newly refurbished and very clean.
However, bed was a little too hard for my liking and comfort. Otherwise, everything is really good for a short stay. Would recommend

I primarily close due to its location to the train station. I knew I would need to walk to the main area. The walk was a beautiful stroll along the river maybe 20 minutes.

Not even a water glass in the room, no desk and the lighting was terrible. The reception is hardly ever open and well … I won’t be back.

No air con!! The room was insufferably hot and we had to keep the windows open. But then the room also became incredibly loud due to it being on the street side. This is by far top 5 worst sleeps of my life.

Absolute nightmare. Entry to room is via app/QR code, neither of which worked. No on site staff to assist. 10 calls to hotel, only to join queue each time and still couldn’t get in. By 7.00pm after about an hour of trying to get in, gave up and started looking for an alternative. 10 calls as line dropped many times. Hotel did not call back once. Another couple were having the same issue. AVOID

This must be one of the most disgusting hotels I have stayed in since visting Romania and Bulgaria in the 1990s. The carpets are filthy with Idontwanttoknowwhat, I was greeted by a black hair in the sink (I am blonde) and a moldy (!) piece of chocolate on my pillow. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were both broken and empty, and the reception is only open from 9-6.30. The windows were probably last cleaned 15 years ago, and the curtains were half torn down, all for a three-digit rate. Yuck.

Not good in anyway! Overpriced for the standard. We didn't get the room we booked either since it was towards the street and very noisy. There were some weird things going on both outside and inside the hotel. There was no reception at all. It was dirty. No one there at the hotel working. Just not what we expected for a price over 100 euro per night. Not recommended.

The reception desk close during the overnight. From 8:00 to 9:00 I think.
And one day the eletricity was downed over night to morning time. We didnt do nothing with cellphone. It was terrible.
And wifi. Only can access in the front desk. I requested wifi, but they said in the front desk it can be accessed.
I hope nobody select that hotel!

The room we stayed in was dingy. The original furniture was removed, but no repairs/repainting completed. The best part about the room was the cleanliness of the bathroom.

Second when I entered the room the room was smelly. I wonder what do the housecleaning people at your hotel do exactly to prepare the room for the next guest?
Next the bathroom have no hot water during my stay I was try to call the reception around 11 but no one answer it. I need to wait until the next day for shower

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever had. No AC , elevator is not working. You have to open the window to get air. No fridge and you can hear police and ambulance siren the whole night. You should take this hotel off your list.

I was booked into other hotel very last minute, best western almeida art, far from the city center, so I didn't see anything of Salzburg. Very disappointing!!!

The hotel got flooded and I was relocated by the Best Western team to Amedia Art Best Western (4 stars, but far from my workplace) without any explanation. I asked for a bike, or a compensation, they won't listen. Fortunately the Hotels.com team was kind enough to compensate for my disruption.

Hotel is different from advertised picture (perhaps "sister" hotel?). Though Salzburg is small, hotel is fairly far from Old City, but close to train station. Wifi was mostly weak or non-existent. We were given a password at check-in, but wifi actually open and not secure. Elevator unavailable after 20:00. Room was on street and noisy. Lamp didn't work. No hooks or cabinet knobs. Huh?
Front desk woman was nice. Otherwise, very little customer service attitude.

There was lumps of plaster in the corridor of the floor we stayed in - it was there at 3:15pm the day we checked in and still there the next morning.
The staff were average, never going out of their way to be welcoming.
