An impressive old building with some beautiful features. We loved the approach through the garden full of lemons and oranges. The spiral staircase is a dramatic feature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You were able to choose what you wanted for breakfast. The delicious jams and juice had all been home made from their oranges, figs etc. The owner also planned a menu for us to have an evening meal. All local specialities and very good, with wine and limoncello!

It would have been nice to have had a view from the bedroom though that is probably possible from different rooms. You have to be prepared to climb the spiral staircase as accommodation is all on the second floor. Be aware that you have to walk to the house, from a public carpark, down a short narrow passage . This is very typical of the area.

The host was very charming and accommodating, even when we asked for a vegan breakfast. He makes his own jam from the fruits in the beautiful garden. He gave us all the information we needed about the area. the property itself is designed in a very European style.

Charming, quiet and perfectly situated for exploring the region. There are few turists in Piano and you get a feel of the local living. I recommend this beautiful relais.

We had a great stay at The Secret Garden Relais. Our room was comfortable and clean. B&B is 5 minutes walk from Piano train station and 4 minutes by train from Sorrento station.

Lovely property, hidden away from the main streets but still within walking distance of the train station, the port and the centre of Piano. The host was fantastic and gave us great advice on what to do during our stay, helping to book our chosen excursions. Breakfast on the terrace was also lovely!

The bed was not the most comfortable

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to book tours and put us in contact with local tour guides. Breakfast on the terrace was beautiful and very well organised. It is located 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes to local beaches! Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby too. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Thank you so much for a great stay!

The host, Gennaro was so lovely. He helped us with arranging a transfer back to the airport. The hosts were so lovely- we had a superb spread for breakfast. The location was incredible - walking distance to the beach and the train station.

The gardens were beautiful, and the rooms were very clean. breakfast was served on a beautiful balcony looking out over the trees in the garden. We got great value for money, and the staff were very helpful and kind. It’s a five minute walk from Piano train station which brought you straight into Serrento. Also a 5 minute walk from a beach and a supermarket.

Excellent service and nice room, the staff was so helpful with all, snd even fixed scooter rental for us, the breakfast was great they made whatever we wanted. Location is great, easy to get to Sorrento and positano.

Piano di Sorrento is a good place to stay when visiting the Amalfi coast. 5 min from the train station, beautiful garden, friendly staff, and good breakfasts. The beach of Piano is also worth visiting.

However it was not a problem for us, but it is good to know that the breakfast is not a buffet breakfast (as it is shown in the pictures), it is table-served & portions are less.

The hosts were so friendly and full of hints and advice. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed, A/C, haidryer, good shower, en suite bathroom with window and separate door from the bedroom. Lovely morning breakfast on the outdoor terrace with cakes, toast and scrambled eggs, home made jams, tea coffee and juice. They provide gluten free crackers on request. For elderly people only: mind there are a few steps in the house, which are no problem whatsover for anybody else. Beautiful garden with orchard, birds, flowers...Sorrento is only two stops away by train, the train station is 7 minutes away by foot, easy walk.

The entire feel of the place was amazing. Imagine living in a remoddeled18th century Italian villa. The host, Gennaro was great, super friendly as very helpful. He saw us about 2 miles out of sorrento once at around 11pm and gave us a ride back to the place.

We really liked the garden setting, the room and our host, Gennaro, who was particularly kind and helpful. Breakfasts on the terrace were delightful and the communal sitting area, with its lovely views, was comfortable and a perfect place to relax.

The relais was initially rather hard to find, but once settled in, we found our bearings and the location was excellent for access to the railway and exploring Sorrento, Pompeii and Heracleum, as well as the town of Piano di Sorrento.
