Located in the heart of the Yokohama Chinatown where dining options that open until 11pm are plentiful and you can easily walk to local attractions like the Red Brick Warehouse and Nissin Cup Noodle Museum. Itou-san is friendly and communicative.

Not really a minus point but there is a steep flight of stairs to the hostel so just beware if you're carrying bulky / heavy luggage.

1.月曜だったせいもあり宿泊者が少なく静かでした. 2.スタッフもフレンドリーで良かった. 3.レストルーム.シャワールームも洗面台も清潔でよく掃除が行き届いていた.

1.レストルームはウォッシュレットであればもっと良かった. 靴箱の脇にあった靴ベラらしきものは ”背中かき”棒だった.靴ベラを置いてほしい.

中華街の中にあり、みなとみらい線元町・中華街駅からも近く、便利です 夜は静かで睡眠の妨げとなるものはあるません ご主人のお人柄が良く、美味しい店など気軽に相談できます 横浜駅までみなとみらい線で 約10分なので、中華街目的でなくても、レジャーやビジネスに最適です

Booked it bcoz of high rating in booking but below our expectation. Small space with 1 bed size only, means tat what we paif for the bed only

Small space, only suitable for sole traveller with small luggage, size must less tgan 21 inchi, no anymore place to storage it.suffering if u need to open luggage.

ostello molto piccolo,ma a suo modo confortevole. Gli spazi sono veramente ristretti,ma per chi come me è fuori tutto il giorno e usa l'ostello solo per lavarsi e dormire va bene. Ottima la posizione, proprio a China Town. La metro è vicina (fermata di Motomachi-Chuukagai) ma con una passeggiata di dieci minuti/ un quarto d'ora si arriva in luoghi interessanti ( Yamashita Park, Motomachi shopping street, America-yama Park ecc...). Staff molto simpatico e cordiale.

forse il fatto che la pulizia sia in gran parte lasciata agli ospiti (anche se io sono stata fortunata e le persone che c'erano in quei giorni erano molto pulite). Gli spazi sono molto ristretti, c'è un solo bagno.

中華街の中にあるので、勝手な想像で… 沢山泊まりに来る人がいる＝老朽化やボロボロと想像してましたが… シャワー室もトイレも綺麗でした！ ただ…上の段の人のイビキやキシム音がうるさかったので、ベッドの作りが気になり枕側のベッドと壁の間に隙間があったところを除くと… 髪の毛が沢山落ちており… (奥で掃除しづらいのはわかります) 色々と想像してしまいました。 そして、ベッドがアルミパイプ？？なのか、上の段はそのベッドに直接マットレスを敷いてるからか？？少し動くだけで凄いキシム音がするので、うるさくて寝れませんでした。 私の確認不足ですが、パイプ系のベッドで二段ベッドだとわかっていればここのゲストハウスは選ばなかったかもしれません。それだけこのタイプのベッドで休めたことがありません。 それと… カーテンはもう少し隙間がないと嬉しいですね。 大きいラゲージ荷物のある方にはオススメはしませんが… 中華街目的なら、立地はとても良いですし！ ベッドとその周りに関しては評価は低くつけてますが、それ以外は満足です！ 長々とすみません。

Beds were comfortable. Location was great.

Checkout instructions could've been a bit more clear. Because the whole hostel is in a cramped space, there is an unsaid expectation that one should be fully departed by the checkout time whereas other hostels/hotels I've stayed in only care that you've departed the room/bed. Communication wasn't as clear on this point.

The location was perfect for Yokohama Chinatown! The staff was so kind, and everything was very clean! The cafe it is above was also a great addition!

The common area is very small, but it worked out so it wasn’t a problem!

Amazing location near China town, big locker, very kind personal

The hostel is pretty small, only one floor with all the beds and facilities, but it felt really homey and comfortable. It was very clean and well mantained, and the host was super nice.

The receptionist was really friendly. Location is good. It's clean. But that is all.

The place is just so horribly designed. First of all 20 of the beds are all just in an open space, with the stairs, reception, and the common area, altogether. Then the beds are made of metal so every movement on them makes a sound, you wake yourself up and most probably also your neighbours. The individual lights shine through the huge gap between bunks so when your bunk mate decides to turn on the light then it's pretty much in your face too. Mattresses and pillows are old and thin so you'll feel the metal. Beds of poor quality aren't meant to last forever. Perhaps a capsule hostel would even be more spacious. I'd like to invite the owner to sleep one night there and see how they feel.

The staff was kind and helpful, and the location in China town is excellent.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable (you can feel the bars under the mattress). And the space is too small. There is not enough room to store or open your luggage.

staff are super friendly and helpful with recommendations, the location is right in China town and not a far walk from the harbour, showers and toilets were clean.

The beds were noisy and if other guest are loud it’s hard to sleep well.

Superb location. Excellent coffee (one complimentary)in the morning. Nice atmosphere. Lockers for your luggage at no extra charge & space for your bags under the bottom bunk.

everything is awesome!

I stayed here for two nights. The hosts Ito and Niko were so nice and friendly. You really feel welcomed. They were so helpful with info for the area too. The hostel is compact but is absolutely spotless. The location was so handy. I would highly recommend you stay here if in Yokohama. John Copas.

Great location, the staff was very nice and the place has a great atmosphere. It is a small hostel but all the basics are available.

There is no division between room (beds) and the other parts of the hostel. It is a small place so the noise is eventually there, specially if the roomates arrive late or leave super early.

The hostel was located in an ideal location in Chinatown in Yokohama. It was the most cleanest hostel I stayed at in the past decade. The hostel owner was very friendly and knowledge of tourist attractions in Yokohama.

The location was nice - centrally located in Yokohama Chinatown, close to transit, and only a 15 minute walk to the Gundam The staff were also welcoming and kind - both hostel and café

The space was just a large room at the top of a staircase. The bunks were metal which were really uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved even a little bit. The privacy curtains also had large gaps & were not wide enough - so when people inevitably walked by your bunk space, they could see in really easily. The bathrooms were the only place you could get 100% privacy as even the changing area of the showers were only closed off by a door and a couple inches of wall above that. Overall, if you need one night stay in Yokohama and aren't looking for comfort or privacy, it'll do.

Staff was friendly, lounge area was comfy, clean space & great location.

My only mild dislike would be the squeaky beds.
