El dueño pide un costo de 60 euros por el uso de las sábanas algo muy inusual, nunca recibimos las sábanas aunque si nos tocó pagar los 60 euros, el dia de la salida llego el señor Bob muy alterado y grito a mi hijo de 14 años diciendo que mi hijo no había aceptado las sábanas qué nunca nos dieron, apelar de que por mensaje le había dicho que no había problema y que yo pagaría los 60 euros a pesar de nunca recibir el servicio el señor Bob siguió gritándole a mi hijo y no nos queria dejar salir de el lugar, por lo cual casi perdemos nuestro viaje de regreso, una experiencia muy triste para mi familia mi hija de 10 años no quiere regresar a Amsterdam nunca más por este incidente lo cual me entristece, la zona es muy alejada de Ámsterdam y el trasporte en bus muy costoso 14 euros por persona ida y regreso,la playa tiene todos los restaurantes cerrados, muy pocas actividades cerca para hacer en familia el chalet siempre tenia un olor extraño y la televisión no tenia control parental. Der Eigentümer verlangt eine Gebühr von 60 Euro für die Nutzung der Bettwäsche, was sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Wir haben die Bettwäsche nie erhalten, obwohl wir die 60 Euro bezahlen mussten. Am Abreisetag kam Herr Bob sehr verärgert schrie wandte sich an meinen 14-jährigen Sohn und sagte, dass mein Sohn die Bettwäsche, die sie uns nie gegeben hatten, nicht angenommen habe, dass ich ihm per Nachricht mitgeteilt habe, dass es kein Problem gäbe und dass ich die 60 Euro bezahlen würde, obwohl ich die Leistung nie erhalten habe , schrie Herr Bob meinen Sohn weiter an und wollte uns nicht gehen lassen, so dass wir unsere Rückreise fast verpasst hätten, eine sehr traurige Erfahrung für meine Familie. Meine 10-jährige Tochter möchte nicht zurückkehren Wegen dieses Vorfalls habe was mich traurig macht.

We loved how flexible the host was. Also the staff was great with our kids! Everyone was so friendly.

The unit was a little cramped, but we spent most of our time gone. It's just a small space by design.

This was our worst apartments so far. We had to leave it during the night and cancel our subsequent travel plans. To sum up: -you can get frozen in the night due to heater failure; noone will help you -owner is extremely unfriendly -you can't access your car between 23 and 7 - so you're locked in -WiFi is virtually absent (limited to 1 device) -apartment is extremely small Even before check in, owner behave weird: he requested us to pay additional fee for late check in, although it was not mentioned anywhere. We've agreed as we had no options to arrive earlier. Upon arrival the owner spent 10 min explaining me how much I have to pay him as a deposit, late arrival fee etc via PayPal "transfer to friends". He didn't spent a minute explaining anything about the properties - just how much I had to pay in advance and why. After 30 min waiting outside we were let in into the apartments by the person owner hired who turned on the gas heating (around 10 pm). Our son woke us up 4am in the night as he get frozen. We checked the heater - it stopped working, so the temperature does to 5C. Hot water was also absent. I've tried to call and WhatsApp the owner - he didn't pick up. So we packed our staff and moved out 7am as parking was closed during the night. Owner replied us first 10am, saying that we ran out of gas and we had to switch it ourselves. Then we submitted refund request via Booking. In response the owner accussed us in sabotaging the heater and bringing baby coat into the apartment (we don't know why it's av problem), and asked booking to block us. Well, this is just ridiculous: we'd never do such performance 4am in the night with 2 small kids to get out of apartments that are too small...

Nice surroundings for a stay of a few days. Clean, nice and good contact with owner.

Great and very well kept location in the dunes close to a fantastic beach and also lot's of wildlife and history to be discovered.

Ijmuiden is quite industrial and not the prittiest town but it is quite interesting.

The Chalet was wonderful, the location was great. It was calm and legere. The host Bob is a really nice guy who explained us everything and led us into a amazing stay. Just perfect!

Wifi only for free for one device doesn’t make any sense. WiFi for one additional device costs 5€ per day which is ridiculously expensive.
