Newly decorated room.

Homeless people seem to have access anywhere and anytime to this hotel. New room nicely decorated. However, furniture was very old, scuffed, and marked. Mattress was comfortable, but the bed itself was old and worn out. The swimming pool area needs attention. The hotel surrounding area felt unsafe. There was rubbish, and litter was left flying around all over the place. This appears to be one of Regina's many problems and is not confined to Albert Street.

Front desk. The lady was so unprofessional didn’t accommodate us accordingly. We had a confirmed booking but when we got there it was not booked and when we asked if they can accommodate us as walk in’s she made it very difficult. As if it was our fault the hotel gave us confirmation booking then turns out they didn’t booked it. Worst part was we came from Calgary it was 7hrs travel, was very tired, travelled with kids and its was already late. She just wasn’t interested on entertaining us, we had to book it again online.

La piscine est formidable surtout si on est en famille. Le personnel est super.

Cockroachs in the pool and super rude, dissmissive pool staff. The pool lady told our family, after niece pointed out a cockroach, "that bugs are everywhere and that was life." There were other kids in the pool having swimming lessons, so my neice and I tried to fish out the bugs from the water using a cup she found on the side of the pool. The pool lady asked my neice to leave because she had a cotton shirt over her bathing suite. This same lady did not explain why her cotton shirt was not allowed. I was wearing a cotton shirt as well. The pool lady went up to my neice, ignoring my neice's personal space, and checked her shirt tag without asking! My neice was visibly upset and embarrassed. We all left the pool and called the front desk. The front desk person told me to come see them. I did, and nothing happened. Literally. I stood there for a while. Eventually, a lady with a cool accent said someone would get back to us. Nothing has happened. It's May now!

Hallways and rooms smelt like cigarettes smoke, pool stairs and walkways were rusty and degraded, hottub was murky. Place all around needs a renovation badly.

Kids liked the pool.

Room was ok but bathroom was cramped, door didn't shut properly and it was dark. Pool was small, way too small for the amount of people, hot tub and small pool had cloudy pieces of paint from the pool flaking into the water that just made it feel dirty. It's in need of some serious TLC. The paint is chipping off into the water, you can see the dust and dirt that's settled on the outside of the waterslide. The pictures show the pool as a young 20 year old in their youth when in reality it's more like a chain-smoking 50 year old. Didn't even try breakfast because we had such a bad experience with dinner the night before. Understaffed so they were completely overwhelmed. Restaurant was so slow and my food came out cold and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The hotel was loud, you could everything from everywhere. Area was sketchy. I honestly can't believe i spent $200 for one night at this place.

my family and I went on a staycation and based our decision to stay at Seven Oaks because of the pool- which our kids loved.

we stayed at this hotel from February 18-20 and on the 20th we woke up to blood on the sheets, and multiple bites on our ankles and legs. upon reaching out to staff over the phone, we were met with extreme unprofessionalism, not even a word of apology, the man wouldn’t indicate his name and seemed very bothered I even called to let him know of the issue.

The pool was incredible for family with children. the staff were all very friendly and the food at the restaurant was good.

Air conditioning was not working, the room was incredibly hot to the point where adults were unable to sleep and a chocolate bar we bought in the morning melted and my cream makeup started to melt. Even with heat off and fans it took over a day for room to cool down.
