at first entrance it looked Great! 2 double beds on in a seperate area the you could close off by shutting the doors. 2 big screen tv's great beds to sleep in!

There was only one comfy chair in the room, one of us had to sit on the bed for comfort When moving the one chair it was discovered to find dirt and debris behind and under the chair. In the bathroom we found that the bath tub was loosing the paint and the paint slivers were in the drain........... Also there were 3 squeeze bottles in the shower/tub, 1 for shower gel, it was empty. one for shampoo it had shampoo. one for conditioner it was empty. There were however small bottles of shampoo and conditioner etc available in the bathroom. Just saying that the room was in need of an update, as it looks tired

We've stayed at the Chateau Cartier Hotel in Gatineau a few times now and we always have a good stay. It's a lovely hotel with friendly staff and spacious rooms. We thanks the hotel for a lovely stay.

We liked everything.

We like the breakfast and the room was clean

As guest in the hotel we should have a pool to use,guests not supposed to pay for a pool,we were disappointed.

Location,layout of the property,gym.front desk staff was very helpful and friendly .gym was new and quite good for a hotel

The manager, who helped me to solve the confusion with my booking with booking.com. He remained calm and collected under pressure. I forgot his name (he speaks Arabic) but I will always remember him for his kindness and understanding.

the hotel is sold as a resort with a pool. but that is not true because you reserve a room and it is only the room, if you want to go to the pool you must pay extra and like anyone who does not stay at the hotel you must pay very expensive to access the hotel pool area. the service is lousy because. Neither the hotel or Booking will solve anything for you, I went on my honeymoon and it was the worst, the worst experience in travel, the little I know about hotels if you say that you are selling a resort this does not have a pool included anywhere. I have traveled, I have had to pay for access to the pool, which in fact are not pools, they are jacuzzis. they are cheaters. Nobody solve your problems, I asked if it was possible to change the room with a view of the parking lot for another room with a better view and they said that it was impossible and the hotel was practically empty. The truth is that the hotel service is lousy and Booking's customer service is worse. They never solve anything for you. Thank you for damaging my honeymoon.

Koena Spa and Restaurants

It is showing its age, need to be renovated.

Beds were comfortable

Cleaning lady left our door/room open before we checked out, when we returned to our room the door was ajar as she was cleaning other rooms

Enjoyed the Koena Spa at hotel. Great location relative to Ottawa. Excellent value relative to Ottawa hotels.

Some areas "lobby/corridors etc. need updating to the levels of Koena Spa and KaTO restaurant.

Staff was friendly patient and knowledgeable Location is ideal and not far from transit Spa was relaxing Overall mood of hotel was very relaxing Hotel lay out is very is easy to maneuver

Unfortunately 1 too many doors to access rooms once you enter elevator Breakfast is not complimentary as i thought but paid. To access gym staff is required Food overpriced for value and quality No ice machine for ice but ice buckets are provided in the rooms Unable to change temperature of room without assistance
