After booking this reservation months in advance we arrived to the hotel only for the very uninformed front desk girl to tell us they “did not have a bed for us” and they were sending us down the road. This information was given to us via a letter with no further discussion. Come to find out this hotel frequently overbooks online and just tells the latest check in people (despite when the made their booking) they were full. This nice happened to be a very busy night for the city with a major event taking place this the only suggested hotel that could take us was the Red Roof Inn Motel down the street. We ended up calling hotels within a 2 hour radius of the city and everyone was booked. We drove 2 and a half hours home and arrived at 2am to relieve our babysitter. WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!

I've stayed at this property numerous of times. I made a reservation for July 25th to July 26th. When I arrived to the hotel the front desk lady kept telling me I have no reservation. Even after showing her my confirmation numbers and screen shots she still told me I had no reservation. It was late and I had my kids. So now I have to get another room at full price!!!! What's the point of booking reservations and using points if your property isn't going to accept it. Now I'm out of money on the booking app.( no refunds) and still had to purchase a new Room at full price!!!! FIX IT!!!!

We choose this place because of the pool. Went to go swimming and there was fecal matter in the pool. I called the front desk to tell them I was swimming with poo and only got "sorry". I was also charged a additional deposit at the property after booking.com said 0 was due at the property. They said they do that on all 3rd party bookings. So

I had to wait to check in approx. 40 mins. due to a computer glitch. This involved 4-5 guests. The staff tried to be apologetic and helped as best they could. However, nothing was offered to me to make up for the delay. I drove over 8 hours to reach the hotel, and needed to be in the room. Also, didn't know if Booking .com was aware that this hotel charges guests an extra $100 due to my booking the reservation from a "third party," meaning "Booking.com." The money is being refunded after a room check is done upon checkout, but it will take 4-5 working days to be deposited back into my account. This seems unethical and unfair. Buyer beware.

Staff friendly, nice looking on the outside.

Room had an odour of cigarettes. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Reported issues, no one looked at it. Breakfast very uninspiring. Microwaved eggs, hash browns and fried potato tots. Dreadful.

Location was perfect. Staff wonderful. rooms clean. AC was great. Breakfast was good especially for it being included in the rate.

When we first walked in the room there was a strange smell. Maybe because it had been closed for a hike. the smell left quickly .

Breakfast food was not replenished on one of the two mornings during our stay. I had to ask the person at the front desk if she could call food service to help restock. It turned out that she was the only person working and had to do it herself. Some of the food items were replenished, but not all. It seems this day they were understaffed. I also did not realize that housekeeping did not enter your room during our stay to freshen up the room. I had to go to the front desk to pick up fresh towels and make my own bed. One thing I look forward to on vacation is someone else doing that.
