My husband checked in after 3 because he was at UNC orientation with our daughter and when he checked in they said they overbooked. After a long drive from Boone and a long day, the last thing you want to hear is your room was given away. Thank you for finding him another place to stay. Candace

Location was great for UNC Orientation. Facilities were nice and clean.

The challenge we had was sleep (which is the primary reason we had the hotel). We could hear lots of noise in the hallway as doors open/ close and presumably teens ran the hall. But even more challenging was the air temperature in the room. Although, the temp was set low on the thermostat, the AC would stop running until manually lowered again. I tend to be very cold natured so when I complain about the temperature being too high, we know it’s an issue.

I’m handicap and in a wheelchair it was pouring down rain so we parked in the garage handicap parking and I was charge $20 I told them they should not charge for handicap parking and they were rude about it. the cheap coffee machine in our room needs to be replaced. The cabinet where the coffee was was dusty.
