Fair value for the price. The kitchen appeared to be from the 1960's. The hotel will need to do a myriad of updates to continue to operate.

Bed sheets were stained, pillows were old and lumpy and the kitchen was archaic. Location was good and it was surprisingly quiet.

I booked on November 2,2022 for our 1 night stay on November 5, 2022 and received a confirmation. At 7:16 pm of November 5, we are already in Innisfail when Max, the front desk phone me and was told that no room for us.

no clock, coffee maker, free breakfast only until 9, pillows were old and bumpy. I’m an overworked Health Care Aide in dire need of a king bath but the bathtub was horrendous, no way I would bathe in it.

During my first stay there were issues with cleanliness. There was a pile of crumbs on the floor near the sink counter that weren’t cleaned up from the previous guest. The bedsheets also had a very unappealing stain on them. I ended up grabbing a new top sheet because of this. Other than those things, I did enjoy my stay at the Red Deer Inn. All of the flooring in the rooms has had the carpets removed which is a plus for hygienic reasons. Everything that you could possibly need is within walking distance from the Inn as well. There is a liquor store and laundromat right across the parking lot, and a corner store and many fast food places within only a couple of blocks from there. A coworker of mine had mentioned that the restaurant/pub that’s attached to the Inn serves great food as well, though I haven’t tried it myself. With all that being said, I would stay here again the next time I’m in Red Deer. You will usually have to book a room a day or so in advance as this place fills up pretty quickly.
