Great location 5 minutes walk from beautiful beach on Lake Skaha, with easy access to downtown facilities. Rooms were spotless, with modern design and very comfortable beds. Added extras were the pool and garden area with bbq. Estelle was very kind and went the extra mile to make us feel at home and we will definitely use the Empire again!

It’s my first time visiting Skaha and me and my boyfriend had a great stay in this motel! Stelle, the owner was very very warm and gave us all the requests we asked! My boyfriend got sick on the third day and Stelle was accommodating enough to provide stuff and herbal tea so my boyfriend will feel better. It was more like being a family than being a guest treatment! She goes around and she’s cleaning and sweeping the common areas non-stop! Like she’s very very hospitable and sweet! I cannot say anything bad even to the property and facilities! There were enough bbq grills ready for cooking and there was a pingpong table where kids can enjoy playing, and there was also a designated smoking area and ashtray is always cleaned by the end of the day! The pool was properly maintained, clean and warm which is set to 28C standard so even if it’s cold, you can still swim and enjoy the water! I had so much fun staying in this motel. It’s conveniently located in front of Kojo Sushi restaurant where they also served amazing sushis!!! The motel is just walking distance from the Skaha Lake, took us maybe 5 mins of walking and 2 mins if driving. All in all, we really had a great and amaaaaazing stay here! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The property was very well maintained. Very thoughtful little extras like pool toys and life jackets for the little ones...a loan library:)

The bathroom was a bit cramped but don't think they can do anything about that. It was very clean though

Estelle was extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were very clean and it was an excellent location for our family :)

This Motel stood out in the sea of Motels in the area. Well kept and and so cute with decor and attention to details. I am so glad we stayed here. It’s newly renovated and under new ownership for about a year and a half. Estelle the owner and her staff were courteous and kind from the moment we arrived. Our suite had a fully equipped kitchen ( we didn’t partake as we ate out; but perfect for travelling families or people on a budget to cook all meals at the motel) brand new beds and linens as well as fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. Good AC units when needed too. Great outdoor spaces with BBQ’s you can use, a great well kept and clean pool with a mole seating and patio seating areas for you to enjoy the property. It’s located on the Skaha Lake side which we found to be nice and less busy and quiet overall. Only a 5 minute walk and a few minute drive to Skaha Lake. Close to convenience stores and some local restaurants too. No concerns with loud party type crowds and quiet time and guests visiting time ends at 11pm. It’s a 5 minute drive to downtown and to the Okanagan Lake side of town. I would stay here again 100% we felt so comfortable and were pleased with the whole experience. Thank you again Estelle and the whole Empire Motel staff for a lovely stay!

I cannot think of any dislikes other than we were only there for 3 nights! Wish it couldn’t have been longer!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved that there was a full size fridge. I wished that the room was a little bigger and would probably book a 2 bedroom next visit for my family of 4. The Host was absolutely lovely. So kind, accommodating and caring.

Wished our room had been a little bigger but next time we will book a bigger room! We for sure will return here, great place to stay with your family.
