Breakfast and all meals were very good. The staff was very nice, just needs a makeover / clean up of the resort

Some type of transportation to the beach

We appreciated the service of the bartender, more specifically, Kelly. Additionally, we appreciated the closeness of the beach to the hotel. It allowed us to walk to the beach without worry for parking.

We were extremely disappointed in the following: 1. Upon arrival into the hotel room, we noticed how stained and dirty the carpet was. It seemed as though the carpet also had previous water damage. We were so uncomfortable, that we did not put any of our bagages on the floor and we consistently walked with our sandals for fear of catching a virus. 2. The bathroom tub seemed to be peeling based on the large noticeable black spot. Additionally, the wall paper above the shower was also peeling. Similar to the carpet, we felt too uncomfortable to shower without wearing sandals. 3. When we went to each breakfast, we noticed that several of the plates located next to the buffet, were extremely filthy and had food and grease stains. We drew the attention of a server and informed him of the dirty plates. Although he removed several of the plates and gave us the go ahead, the very next plate we choose was just as filthy. We were so uncomfortable, that we drank our coffee with straws. 4. The furniture in the room was dated and had stains due to the degree that we used towels to sit on to separate our skin from the stained furniture. 5. Lastly, on our last night, we went to the bar for dinner. We were served chicken wings with freezer burns that we would not eat. At this point, we just wanted to leave. We took the chicken wings to our room and threw them out. Overall, I have never been so uncomfortable at such a high price per night at a hotel establishment. I will never return to this hotel nor will I recommend it to others. I just cannot understand how Booking.com could charge such ridiculous prices for subpar accommodations.

The location is perfect! Close to the beach and restaurants!

The room was not the best full of dust and very dirty. Old furniture rusted and broken appliances. Neither phone in the room worked so we were unable to call the front desk when needed.

The room was actually better in person than in pictures. Proximity to restaurants, beach, and water park were great! It was nice having a kitchen to make some meals. Hotel pool was good too!

The room was not cleaned every day. We had to ask for towels and clean sheets. After being at the beach every day there was sand everywhere and it would have been nice to have a clean bed and floors.

This was the worst holiday inn hotel I have ever stayed in. I emailed wanting to speak with a manager. the facility was old dirty and outdated but the worst was the rooms. The were disgusting. I killed a baby roach on the curtain , there was like termites in the cabinet and like some debris and food on the rugs from previous guests. it was the worst hotel experience I have ever experienced. I stay in holiday inns often and have never had this experience. I was just planning on leaving and giving a poor review but when I went to my car in the garage there was like pipe leaks that dripped some water or chemical on my car staining it. I want to speak to a manager in corporate regarding the filthy and below standards room and the situation with my car

It was by a bar and a pool. The room was big enough for our family. The view was very pretty.

Office staff was rude, no extra pillows, had to call down to the front desk multiple times for extra blankets and towels they didnt come we had to go down to get it ourselves. The pool and hot tub were disgusting dirty.

The location, great to the beach or an amazing little ice cream shop. The staff was mainly nice BUT....

MANAGEMENT... ABSOLUTELY NOT. This man was rude to not only my kids when they went to ask for a blanket for for pur pullout couch (mind you that we didn't get one the first night when we asked because the laundry hadn't been done from the big night before... we asked for it at 9pm.) The first night we're there, we find out the pool (mind you it's summer) closes at dusk. Then the next morning we are woken up at 7 am by their landscaping company. (No courtesy to the paying hotel customers on vacation). The 3rd morning, woken up by a huge outdoor forklift and semi right outside our door at 7AM AGAIN for a delivery. ONCE AGAIN, NO COMMON COURTESY FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS ON VACATION PAYING GOOD MONEY FOR THEIR ROOMS. I let the manager know it's inappropriate and inconsiderate to the paying customers and I did let him know to quit apologizing and take action for others and schedule later appointments. Stop thinking of the money and think of the customers, as I left the office he called me trash. When I said I was going to record he said, ugh! I didn't say anything! And walked out, then proceeded to tell my husband he didn't say anything. I've been in customer service and hospitality and never, NEVER should you demean a customer. Oh and don't bother with the "free breakfast buffet " at Jimmy Guana's, if that's what you pay for in your package because it's not worth the $13.95 they normally charge. I can't keep going, it's exhausting. The location and some staff are great, not worth your money. The one connected to the Splash park is the one to go with.

Nothing…We had Bugs everywhere, dozens of them. We were moved to another room that was even worse.

We paid for a private sunset villa. Deck was covered in mold and not a chair to watch a sunset. Absolutely disgusting!

Set on the inland waterway off the Clearwater coast, the apartments were set in a wood-framed traditional building complex. The building consists of two banks with rooms facing the car park, internally overlooking a putting course and one overlooking the waterway. The balcony was not private but formed part of the walkway which could be busy depending on what level you were on. Beach was a short walk and was the best aspect of the fasilities

The breakfast was laid out on a table with napkins covering the food, which seemed not ideal... you are given a ticket for breakfast which was included in the price, however, the focus seemed to be on securing a tip rather than providing a quality service. The initial room was on the ground floor facing the putting course and was awful, I paid to be upgraded to a sea view.. the room had a strong smell and the furniture needed a good clean. Not the standard I would expect from a Holiday Inn.

location, restaurant, mini golf. nice room, but had mold on curtains. pool appears aged and needs some work. good staff and things to do. Best ice cream shop ever a few blocks away. Beach is super too

The location is good, short walk to the beach and decent restaurants nearby

The room was very poor. No ventilation, faced onto the road and had no window which could open. Very dark and dingy, what on earth was ‘deluxe’ about it - I have no idea! There are only two room types, a king one bed which sofa and the double double, they have connecting door to each type which creates the two bed apartment. Trouble is that design means you’re practically living with the adjoining room as there is no noise suppression whatsoever.

it was such an amazing, friendly beachfront place to stay. We meet the night manager, Russ Griggs, who told us everything we needed to know about the resort, and what it had to offer. He answered every question that we had, and he’s quite an asset to this holiday inn resort! We will definitely return and hope to spend time conversing with him again!!

for a two night stay at almost $1000 and the rooms were so rundown, the carpets were soaked around the air conditioner, everything was outdated the door to the bathroom at the bottom was pilling up on both sides cabinet doors in the kitchen were damaged and poorly repaired by paint over him stain on the chair in the living room. Carpet was not in good shape. The bathtub was not in great shape. Had to get the door to close. You had to slam it. The pool was small for such a large resort, there were cracks in the edge and casing around the pool. The furniture around the pool was not in good repair and dirty begin. The refrigerator in the room was rusted at the bottom and so old unreal. I was not happy that the pictures portrayed on booking.com looked nothing like the room that I had, and for the price that I paid, I should not have been charge that much. No one should other than the location was the only good thing that I can say and that the staff was nice not a lot of handicap access. I had a great time away from the room is all I can say that was good.

we sleep late so I didn’t like not being able to stop sunlight from piercing in. really wish the hot tub was /4 hours. my normal hotel in that same area is lenient with letting us go in there hot tub late night. they see we are a responsible couple and not some really young people having a party so they usually give us the nod and I throw them a little extra cash to show my appreciation. everybody is happy. also the place probably could use a paint job and update though I will say still was beautiful. oh yes I didn’t like how I could not hook my hd cord from iPhone to either tv so I could relax to shows that I stream. might not seem like a big deal but hotel tv channels are too limited for my taste so I love me to bring my own options and I always remember which hotels make it difficult to do so
