Good location.
It was almost $230 a night, in Syracuse. For that, you're getting a very low quality breakfast. The rooms are not well renovated (maybe newish furniture). The bathrooms are below standard for a room at this rate in any major city. The door lock malfunctioned multiple times. The staff seemed annoyed I even showed up. The ironing board was ancient and damaged my clothes.
The bed was relatively comfortable, and the AC worked. The water was hot. It has electricity, and lamps at bedside. So, it meets a minimum standard.
At $100-150 a night, this would all be fine. At their current margins, they need some reinvestment.
Maybe my room was just an expensive room, as we had to book relatively last minute for a family emergency.

The location
I couldn't check in until after 6 pm because the hotel was short-staffed. I didn't have to pay for parking, but I had to request an extra dry towel because there was only one in the room for two people. Additionally, the toilet kept running unless I jiggled the handle. The stay wasn't terrible, but these small issues added up. I was with my 87-year-old grandmother, so the delay in checking in before heading to the jazz concert made it harder for us to relax and rest. The lay out of the room lighting is funky. The door entrance is dark and so was the entire left side of the room.

החדרים ממש יפים, מאובזרים עם מטבחון, נקיים, גדולים.
ארוחת בוקר נחמדה…. קונטנינטלית, כלים חד פעמיים ( חבל על זיהום הסביבה).
חנייה בתשלום. 12 דולר, לא נורא אבל הפתיע אותנו.

It was near everything, restaurants, shops etc..
There wasnt enough parking, we had to park in another lot down the street and we had to go into hotel to get a token everytime we wanted to park the car also there wasnt any housekeeping

The AC was not working. 79 degrees in the room overnight.
Three people in the suite, only two sets of sheets.
No towels for the 3rd person provided.

Breakfast was poor (no Nutella, no jam most of the days) - mold on the food on our first day
Windows are really old - really very very noisy in the night

I liked that it was within walking distance from a lot of restaurants and bars. Also the rooms were spacious and clean. Worth the price.

The reservation was pre-paid. However, the hotel attempted to double bill us and it took much effort to get a potential resolution. We are still waiting to see if the double charge is removed from our credit card.

Syracuse is not a vacation place but great for travel professionals.

Hotel was basically clean and convenient for our stay next to the mountain goat 10 miler.
Gun fire, unsafe area around the hotel and unable to get any sleep do to the excessive noise till 4am. Even being on the 11th floor didn't make a difference.

The location for the Sky Armory was great. The staff was nice. They tried very hard to accommodate us for our large family wedding! Breakfast was good and the breakfast area was nice.
My problem was Booking.com!! When my family arrived for the wedding our reservations never went through yet we're fully paid and non refundable!! I also had the confirmation numbers. They said they were booked and they had to downgrade us to a queen room and gave our suite away! People had to leave because there wasn't enough rooms!! I was traveling with a large family group plus children. My room ended up being the size of a closet the good thing is it was clean but dated. I met a woman in the elevator that said her reservation was for a queen and they upgraded her because they didn't have one!!! Oh did I mention she checked in at the exact time as I did and I heard the conversation!!!! I had her queen and she had my suite!!!!

The men at the front desk were less than friendly. The elevator needs servicing. Just one elevator for 10 floors. At times, it kept you trapped, didn't move or open.
