The heating element is broken for the pool and jacuzzi, both are freezing cold and were unbearable to be in. The room was filthy, nothing was properly wiped down. There are handprints and dirt smudges on the doors, cabinets and both TVs. The room was very warm and uncomfortable, I woke up at 4am sweating. I called the Hotel from my cell phone because neither room phone was working. I let the front desk know that I was hot, sweating and very uncomfortable and they told me that there was not a maintenance man on the property at the time so there was nothing they could do about it. Then morning comes and I'm expecting complimentary breakfast like it stated when I booked the room but I had to pay for my breakfast, not even a piece of fruit was allowed. I spoke the manager regarding this as well as called corporate and I was told there was nothing they can do to accommodate me because I booked through a third party.

Love this property! The staff is amazing and it is a safe area in the Baton Rouge city.

Not clean, smelled, bad, very small rooms. On arrival they where going to put us on separate floors said they were all booked up. After I explained we requested rooms next to each other they said we had to wait an hour before they would have a room. Room was way over priced😞

The air conditioner went out in the room and engineering never showed up. We ended up having to transfer rooms.

When I booked my room it said breakfast was included, went to have breakfast and I had to pay for it. Told the front desk clerk then he gives me a coupon for a peice of fruit and a Danish. The rooms were already 415 for the weekend which was not worth it. For 500 hundred a weekend the rooms should have been better than that. Will never book here again.

The road to and from the property is horrible. The courtyard seating was dirty.

There was a odor in the room.. Omg and when I was disinfecting the room, there was hair under the sheets of a bed that was made, which makes me believe the sheets were not clean! The shower had hair in it. I just think so highly of Marriott but not too much of this one.
