Location is great. Next to chilis & Walmart. Breakfast was good.

Ice machines on two floors were broken, pool and hot tub were out of service, floors are uneven and bumpy in spots under carpet. For the price and being apart of “Hilton honors” this seemed run down.

Bathroom floor tiles loose and cracking, room near elevator which was loud all night. Also not sure if there was a room above me or a working room. Loud foot steps all through the night. I usually travel with my kids and I know they can be loud walking around so didn’t want to complain but this wasn’t just evening and early morning. Hampton staff are usually upbeat and very welcoming. Just had the sense they could care less who was staying with them. Won’t be booking again at this hotel for my next event in Carlsbad.

staff pretty unhappy room was not clean, had many need repairs and upgrades, plus there is nothing like finding other peoples things on ground that could have been swept. yuck

there were flies all around the food, roaches crawling around the dinning floor. the counters were covered in food. nothing was being cleaned. the pool was FREEZING. i wasnt aware that i couldnt get a military discount booking the hotel through booking.com-little disappointing

staff upfront were a little rude, I was charged twice for the pet deposit which only half has been returned, and there is nowhere but hot rocks for their “pet friendly” space!

The room with swimming pool was too warm.

it was clean upon arrival. The pool area was fair. breakfast was not very good, the breakfast area was messy and dirty. The tables hadn’t been wiped and there wasn’t a replenishment of food as it ran out. could be they were short handed, but honestly it was quite disappointing.

The room was nice and the pool was great.

We were given cards for the room, used the app to open the door the 1st time, then went to the pool and used a key card to get in the pool. Then went to our room and the cards didn't work and went back down to the desk to see what was wrong. I was told they were deactivated and it seemed like the blame was put on me. Then from that point forward the app wouldn't open the door.

The breakfast was wonderful. Hotel clean in all areas. Staff were exceptional!

Room was very nice, but noisy side (train and noisy car wash). Breakfast set up was great and the staff was very nice, friendly, helpful.

Pool area smelled rather "funky" and seemed dark, giving impression that it wasn't as clean as it could be (pool at an older Hampton was actually nicer), and pool was chilly.
