An amazing location and large, comfortable and luxurious room.

Everything was excellent, can't think of anything to improve.

Everything, except when booking we did not know the parking was valet only and had a daily charge. It was a surprise expense. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Stating clearly when booking that there was a charge for parking, and that it was valet, no self parking.

The staff were incredible - everyone made me feel very special as I was staying there for my birthday. The bath products are amazing and the in room fireplace was my favorite part. The view from the restaurant is unbeatable - I definitely recommend getting a dinner reservation about 30 minutes before sunset. You won't be sorry.

The coffee is pretty terrible unfortunately but everything else (food, wine, dessert) are wonderful. The only two downsides to my stay were that the King Pier room just overlooks a parking lot but if you can get over that, the view of the pier is beautiful. Maybe the top level would be better for avoiding seeing the parking - the photos online are very photoshopped and don't show the parking lot. The other downside was not the hotels fault but Booking.com lists that every room has a bathtub but they do not, only a shower - as stated on the hotel's website. Wish this was updated since it was something I was really looking forward to.

Had a great stay. Room, view and staff were wonderful. Food was wonderful.

Would have been nice if the guy at the bar would have not ignored us when we were trying to get change so we could tip the valet upon leaving the restaurant. It is noisy on a Saturday night which is not the Hotels fault.

Every person I had contact with working at the property from the valets, bellman, front desk, manager, & room service were exceptionally kind. Really impressive.

A lot of thought had gone into the detail of the hotel and the room was stylish with a lot of nice finishes…. lovely bed linens towels etc ….extras such as binoculars were a nice touch…. good size balcony and you are right on the beach…. easy access via terrace…food is good but like a lot of California expensive…. always find it annoying to pay for breakfast…. good choice though…. staff are wonderful very kind and always happy to help

Some areas are being renovated ie rooms on our floor…. there are a few areas that are looking tired in the dining area the sofas are stained the same as the footstool in our room

Best experience !! Coming from West Hollywood this was a great small getaway. Slept with the fireplace all night and window open and fell asleep and woke up to the waves. Can’t wait to make this a monthly thing. Malibu is so special. Also super close walk to nobu.

Considering its well priced property, the room wasnt equipped with water, tea bags, sugar etc! we had to keep calling them for that. Also they charged us for parking even when we didnt park at the hotel! So after the final bill we had to get the refund. If you dont wish to park at the hotel, there is a paid parking right besides the property which charges less and there is free parking outside the property too. Even though the staff seemed helpful, they kept coming back for tips!
