We enjoyed walking right across the street and having the boardwalk and beach so close. The breakfast was unexpected, very nice, and packaged to go anywhere. My wife was surprised there was no air conditioning The room was quiet, comfortable, and we left relaxed and totally unwound from city life in SoCal - we love Slo (slow) Cal!

My wife was surprised there was no air conditioning (she's Vietnamese) so I explained that the building was probably constructed before it even existed. Also, it's so close to the ocean that it would be a rare day to even need it - there was a fan in the room just in case.

no housekeeping or even picking up dirty dishes. room much too dark. 1 staff unprofessional and splitting time with another facility. gave us tough time for added towels and inaccurate local sites. breakfast inedible egg in bag to eat in room.

The breakfast you furnish was fresh and hot, would have appreciated a different option after three days ….

Room was very clean ( one of three balcony rooms), but it’s time for a refresh on the bedding… very faded and old all the battening was balled up on in corners (ugh) also would appreciate a small table to eat on, we held our plates you furnished in our hands for late dinners ( to cold on balcony) Your pictures for that room was way more impressive than the room, but do have to say the view makes up for it, as long as a car doesn’t park along the street….

The wifi did not work well in our room. The TV did not work well in our room.

everything was great, however, housekeeping could be improved. i feel house keeping could check the rooms to make sure that the amenities could be restocked if necessary and the trash cans emptied.

Great location, friendly staff, large and comfortable rooms. The boardwalk (not exclusive to any one motel) above the beach across the coast is a nice addition to the area.

Great location on the beach. Very comfortable room.

No longer offers maid service for stays less than three days. Parking lot has enough spaces but difficult maneuverability.

the breakfast and proximity to Moonstone

This hotel was in a great location across from Moonstone Beach. The sounds of the ocean while sleeping was wonderful. The room was actually nicer than it looked online. The decor was fresh and up-to-date.

There were only a couple small kinks. The coffemaker was a tad more complicated than expected. The other issue was the t.p. The quality was so cheap. The paper was the thinnest and roughest I've used.
