We did stay as it was not clean.

It had a bad smell like Urine and had a dirty cloth left on the counter.

building classification is a motel. should not call it otherwise. Noise proofing could improve the stay. although, I personally enjoy the train.

It was walking distance to the event we attended.

Desk staff called us at 1:00 in the morning and insisted we come to the desk to fix a "credit card error" or else be criminally trespassed. Total error on part of employee and absurd to wake guests. I'm seriously appalled.

The only downfall were the passing trains that you could hear.

Friendly customer service, outside and garage parking available. Rooms were adequate for the price we paid. Will stay there again if ever in the area.

The Steam Plant restaurant and bar are NOT located in the hotel. They are full city block away.

See earlier comments. The place was a rat hole. Terrible quality bed, sheets….the tv glitched out every time a train passed (which was often), no real comfort, or cleanliness or quiet. Just a depressing old motor lodge with a tiny bit of painted veneer to have it look from a distance like it was hip or cool. It was terrible! I’m really upset Booking.com rated it highly. This is the first time I’ve been burned by your ratings.

The room was very clean and very quiet. You could hear trains occasionally as the tracks are very close, but I never heard another person at the hotel even though I was on the middle level and I could see other guests out my window.

The bed was a little worn with clear grooves on either side. I couldn't go to sleep in the middle and wake up in the same spot.

Staff was exceptionally welcoming, room was clean and ready for check in. Parking was available - didn't need covered parking but it was available. wifi was available and easily accessed. Staff recommended an excellent restaurant and bar just within easy walking distance. The theatre was within easy walking distance (just under a mile) with well-lighted streets at night. Kureg provided the in room coffee...love those little pods. Staff allowed me access to the kitchen to get tea at night. Really decent brewed and Kureg coffee in the breakfast room.

Breakfast could have been more varied but was totally adequate. The clock in the room was unfunctional...at least I couldn't figure out how to make it work. Our iphones worked well enough.

weird location

The room wasn’t well kept, dirty bedding, halls and elevators smelled bad and were very dirty. A friend stayed in another room and had to request a new room because of the dog hair and boogers on her sheets.

Great location for access to downtown Spokane, parking was easy, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was reasonably priced!
