Very nice B&B, very clean, great location. The two exceptional parts of our stay - the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I lost my favorite earrings there and they called to tell me they had found them and then mailed them to me!

The host is excellent at communicating and providing all necessary check in information. The process is incredibly simple. The rooms are beautiful and offer everything you may need. The location is in on the edge of downtown and close to everything you may want to do. We will absolutely be coming back!

Breakfast was delicious and very filling.

The only thing that didn’t exceed our expectations was the parking, which was somewhat limited. Otherwise, everything far exceeded our expectations.

Cheryl, the hostess, was exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Breakfasts were wonderful

Room was on third floor. No elevator. My wife is recovering from foot surgery. Very tough for her to get up to third floor.

The Elmhurst Inn is exactly what you picture as a quaint New England Inn. Our room (Hull’s Cove) was on the 3rd floor. We had a beautiful view from the balcony and the room was spacious and comfortable! The Inn is close enough to walk to plenty of restaurants and shopping and even the Shore Walk in the harbor! We loved it!

The woman that runs the Inn is awesome! She was a hard worker and ver accomodating. She made it a point to remember every one of the guests and their needs. The breakfast was amazing!!

Friendly staff - Cheryl(sp) is great. Comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfasts, great guests, clean room and perfect location. Couldn’t ask for better. Best said just the right amount of fancy.

Light under the doorway - not too much of a complaint.

The attention to details and comfort was excellent! Breakfast was superb, and you could walk easily to downtown!

Walking distance to town. Comfortable beds/linens.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The owner was kind and deeply knowledgeable about Bar Harbor. She gave us so many wonderful recommendations about everything from hiking to dinner. The hotel is located walking distance from town center. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We look forward to a return trip!

The breakfast was awesome! It was different every day we were there. We also got fruit each morning before our food. Very tasty :)
