Our host, Keith, was very personable and attentive. He made a great breakfast that we enjoyed as we conversed with him. Our unit had so much character and was very clean and comfortable. This place was a great location for our time at the game at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The owner stopped and chatted with us about the history of the property for awhile and also showed us the rest of the facilities. They even had a friendly dog to greet you at the door. It was secured with a lockable gangway and entryway door. Parking is included and an excellent breakfast.

Kevin, the owner, was absolutely wonderful. He is very talkative and social so if that’s not your thing, be aware.
He took us up to the room and showed us around and insisted we tell him when we wanted to come down for breakfast. He was genuinely interested in our plans and if we were enjoying our weekend.
The room was behind a locked gate, a locked outside door, and a private door, which was nice, but outside door was in an alley that was not as well lit as I would’ve liked.

It was a unique experience! I have family members who live around the corner, so the location was extremely convenient for us. The suites are like apartments. The decor is nothing too exciting, and it was a little quirky in that there were photographs of Mayor Daly throughout our suite. But it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. We heard the Sunday gospel brunch was a site to see so we popped in for our complimentary breakfast and for serenaded by the owner/chef/innkeeper/gospel singer! He even came by our table and greeted us. The food was excellent and the gospel music was such a novelty. Interesting experience!
The decor in the suite could be updated.

Incredible people. We were well fed and the owner even gave us a ride one day to a concert. Friendly, attentive, and the building has amazing character.

it’s quirky and friendly! Reminded me of my grandmother’s summer house.
A bit noisy at times but it’s not music or streets, like hearing neighbors when you live in an older apartment.

The location is perfect for exploring some of Chicago’s neighborhoods. The Polo Inn serves an excellent breakfast. The staff/owner could not have been friendlier.

Amazing stay! Friendly and generous staff who know what hospitality means... Great location in the quiet Bridgeport neighborhood. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Breakfast was incredible, and gospel brunch on Sunday was such a fun experience with amazing food. You need to have the french toast! We would absolutely stay again and we will definitely come back to eat at the cafe. Thank you!!!

This is by far the best experience ever staying someplace! The rooms are so nice and clean and comfortable…. And the breakfast in the morning is beyond amazing! You are so well taken care of here, I would never want to go to Chicago and stay anywhere else! Plus free parking and easy access to public transit! This place is AMAZING!!!

Sheets and towels were good quality and the space was very clean. Nice little neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance. Safe free parking. Walked back to the room from FRG Ballpark at midnight - perfectly safe!

Direction on where parking lot was located should be included. We passed by it several times before parking.
