parked next to cabin - air conditioning if needed

Easy to find, near to Lake George. The beds were comfortable. Owners were very nice.

The cabin itself…mouse droppings in the silverware drawer upon arrival, fresh mouse dropping on the kitchen table and stove every day. It’s a good thing I brought disinfecting wipes and my own eating and cooking supplies. The shower floor was gross (we had to bath ourselves using just the sink) and the bathroom floor was spongy. We didn’t bring it up since we were only there a few days. I understand being in the the country and mice are a thing, but we paid quite a bit to stay here.

Great location and good amenities for kids

Hotel was old and septic system was full. We could hear the animals at night scratching the walls. Kitchen utensils were absolutely gross.

I liked leaving

The door didn't lock. Serval times we asked the owner to fix it he tried but no luck. Didn't even offer us a different cabin. We had to take all our valuables with us including our dogs even to go to get groceries. We weren't able to leave the property without our dogs. So that meant eating at the cabin every night. One Air conditioner for 3 rooms. Broken Futon we fell off Of it twice. Had to buy raid for the bugs.

Just stayed four nights here to visit Lake George. Very close to the village and well maintained, parking right outside your door. Accommodated my two dogs. Mike the owner operates the property and very pleasant and professional. Has a fenced in pool and a huge fire pit area. The Lone Bull pancake house is two minutes away and Ray’s Helova deli which was convenient. Was a great cottage for what we needed it for. I would stay again but would probably get an adjoining room because of our family size just so we could have an extra bathroom. The efficiency cottage slept us four comfortably and the trundle bed is great for teens. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and plates. Refrigerator is small but we ate out mostly. Brought cold cuts with me for car ride and boat.

Blankets for high rise trundle could be better.

The host went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. The property was clean and the pool being opened was a plus. We made use of everything that was on site. The grills, pool and the fire pit was a plus for the night. I will definitely book there again.

I think the mattresses could be updated.
