Rooms were not as expected, overpriced accommodation and food, poor service from staff, language barrier between us and housekeeping. Not given room as booked. The “breakfast” included was a muffin and some fruit - not worth upgrading to breakfast included.

Disappointing experience. The room was dirty, but the bed was clean. The staff at check-in didn't provide wifi password, check out time, or information. There were limited amenities — no free bottled water and the shampoo/soaps were the same cheap soaps poured into fancy bottles. Some plug sockets didn't work. Traffic noise is loud. My colleague was given a room that was still partially occupied and waited 90 minutes for room service. It's also not a good location — very few nice places in the vicinity.

A terrace with stellar view of downtown Miami was the icing on a cake. Love the modern aesthetic and designer details of the lobby. The room was beautiful, and clean. Modern Simplicity is more. Whether your aesthetic leans contemporary cool or more smart and minimalistic, these stylish

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom, although the water from the shower flowed on the floor and made it all wet. Reception staff was friendly!

Everything advertised that the breakfast was included but when we got there, there was one continental breakfast that included juice/coffee, pastry bread and fruits. Everything else you had to pay for. First morning when we went to get breakfast we asked how it worked if it's already paid for and the waiter put us to a table to wait and he never came back. After 15 minutes another waiter came to get our order and we told him the same thing and he then told us that we should have a breakfast-ticket from the reception. We then went to the reception for the ticket and the system said we don't even have breakfast. I showed my receipt for the stay and they first gave us a ticket for only 1 breakfast. Luckily we then got it for all 3 mornings afterall. No one really asked us ever what pastry we wanted for the breakfast, we every time had to ask the waiter to come back and tell us the options. Every time they tried to leave after we told them of the continential breakfast. Also the pool area was nice, but if you expect sun all day from the sunrise, there is a huge building that blocks the sun until after 1-2pm. That didn't show in any of the pictures and was quite a disappointment. Breakfast and the pool didn't really seem to be 5-star worth or value for money :(

Gabrielle Hotel, Downtown Miami beautiful hotel but pathetic services. After paying an average of $750 per night, we expect better but the experience so far is that of that of a low budget motel. First day we were checked-in in a date room and got reassigned after complaining. Following day, got another shocker as we came back to a dirty room after a long day out. While staff are friendly and apologetic, nothing right seems to be done. Today, yet again, we get back to a room that has not been cleaned - they thought it wise only to make the bed and change the towels. Worst still, the drain plug doesn’t work and water has been in the tub since I took a bath on Monday. And now am regretting ever using the tub based on what I know now. We are from Africa, traveled around a bit and this is definitely the worst.

The receptionist ordered us a cab to go to Fort Lauderdale. The price that was agreed with company & us was 90 dollars. When we arrived at destination the driver said cost was 155 dollars, He was advised that the price agreed was 90 dollars. He insisted it was the higher price. 2 attempts to pay credit cards were declined & our cards were suspended by our banks & referred to banks fraud section. We paid cash & requested a receipt which said he was unable to supply for cash payment. This experience caused us great anxiety & a lot of time connecting later with our banks as we worried about our bank security. Dogs in lobby restaurant, not hygienic.
