There was a squatter trying to get into the hotel and knocked on our window and door in the middle of the night. Not really the hotels fault though.

I thought the room was great at the America Inn by Wyndham in Sioux Falls, SD. I thought the facility and the room we stayed in were clean, but the bed mattress could have been a little softer. The bathroom had a curved shower curtain and a fan that had worked which I thought was great. I really like that they had Dove products for use in the bathroom because I love Dove products and that is what we use at home.

The beds could have had a softer mattress, and the toilet seat was loose which needed to be tightened as it moved when you sat down on it.

Good location for my purposes. Friendly staff. Reasonably comfy bed and bedding. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of towels.

Television didn’t work. The upholstered chair/ottoman had some odd looking stains on the fabric. The microwave didn’t work. It might not have been plugged in but the outlet wasn’t visible or accessible to me. The hand lotion in the bathroom was more than half empty.

I didn't like that our room keys didn't work. The staff came to let us in, after we were in the room the toilet was dirty, empty cigarette pack by tv. The tv sound didn't work. Our arrival time was after midnight we were tired and requested to be moved to another room. We moved next door, but the room keys didn't work again. The front desk staff was very apologetic and tried to make sure we were accommodated.

Breakfast was very good. Bed was very good. Nice and cool rooms on a very hot day.

This hotel was not as sound proof as other American Inns I have stayed at.

The location was close to interstate and the bathroom was very roomy. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The air conditioner seemed quite loud. Staff was a little slow in the morning refilling/stocking items at the breakfast and it did not seem overly busy.

We were greeted by staff with a smile and they were very friendly and the 2 complimentary drinks from the lounge.

I liked everything about our stay.

Price was too high for the type of hotel. The breakfast was minimal with unappetizing sausage. (Looked boiled)
