We enjoyed sharing a colourful eccentric home and garden, staying in a room next to the main bathroom within the main house. A delightful breakfast was served to suit our departure time the next morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our discussion and family history lesson with our host.

Shared bath had clean towels but bathroom was unkept and shower , sink, toilet area definitely need attention.

What a fun place to stay. We were welcomed like family. Kate prepared a delicious breakfast the day we were hustling off to Kennecott, and an amazing special breakfast of sourdough pancakes on our last day there. Her sourdough was made with 175 year old starter passed down from her family and delicious. We felt like we were family from the start and look forward to visiting again.

The stay was too short. There were more things to learn about the area.

It is a cozy place to stay. Kate is a wonderful hostess. We love her place so much!

Everything you could ask for. Great night sleep, shower, and breakfast to get you ready for an Alaskan adventure. One of the only options in the area and it has all the amenities you need to stay comfortable.

First of all, Kate is a wonderful host and a great conversationalist. The breakfast here is magnificent and well presented. Rooms are small but comfortable. This is our second time here and we will be back then next time we are in this part of Alaska.

Excellent gourmet breakfast and Kate packed us up some great banana bread to go.

The only thing is we had some difficulty finding the location. Maybe it could be marked more clearly as we drove past a couple of times before realizing it was in the place marked for coffee.
