My wife was with me.

This is a reworked farm shed. There was no welcome notebook with tips on how to work various items (emergency numbers, remotes, hot tub, dehumidifier, coffee maker, wifi, etc) or area facilities/attractions/stores. The website photos were a horrible misrepresentation and deceptive of the actual "chalet". The grounds and building exterior were poorly kept. The broken concrete driveway opened directly into the bedroom. The bed was marsh mellow soft. The "living room" furniture was old and very uncomfortable. It felt like sitting on a board. The kitchen tile counters were chipped and unfinished. Kitchen drawers only half opened, and utensils just dumped in basket. Trim work around the window air conditioners was missing. Electrical outlets missing cover plates. Tarnished and stained sink fixtures and soap scum in shower. Boards screwed to walls to cover holes. The very small bathroom has a weird step up from the rest of the floors. The bathroom sink had sulfur smell. The bathroom and kitchen sink were plumbed backwards so hot came out the cold side and vise versa. Mold in shower and bathroom baseboards. There were roaches and silverfish. The unit has a humidity and musty problem. They have a dehumidifier (no instructions) draining into a bucket. There are many "plug-in" air fresheners to mask the problem. Chemicals in hot tub way too strong. The grill cover was torn up and the old grill was just pushed over into the tree line. On check out I went to the rental office and spoke directly to the owner. She didn't invite me in and just talked on the sidewalk as she was setting up a yard sale. I showed her the many photos I took. She was dismissive and rude and walked off.

The location was wonderful. The quietess but still close to amenities. There was a park, hiking trail with a waterfall. Pet friendly was a must for us. The screened in porch was amazing.

The couch could be more comfortable. There was a smell in the water from bathroom sink. We had a cake in a container and seen a cockroach on the counter, so we put all food in fridge even if it didn't belong.

Nice location, didn’t have people right next door, privacy

Very comfortable bedding. Well decorated. Felt at home right away. Surprise treats left by hostess.

Sofa was uncomfortable, but we pulled the rocking chairs in from the screened in back porch and were very comfortable.

The location is nice, yard is good for pets, the video game brought back memories. This could be a nice place but it has real issues. We stayed two nights, wouldn't do it again.

There is a smell, it's kinda like a mildew or mold smell. We removed the filter out of the ac unit in the living room after arrival and spray it with Lysol. That didn't help so we cut it off. The bedding smelled of a strong pine scent, Almost like trying to cover up the other odor. It's old, in need of repairs. It's not filthy but it isn't clean. On our last day I noticed what's causing the odors. This property is built on a concrete slab. There is water literally leaching up from the ground thru the slab and vinyl floor. I thought we'd spilled something but when you walk on the floor in the living room you can see the drops on top of the creases. Big problem and money to fix, maybe a dehumidifier might be short term answer. I wouldn't stay her again at any price.

Good location, convenient to the The Island and many tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge. The king size bed was great, very nice kitchen area, except there was no dishwasher.

Strong musty smell, air fresheners were in place to help cover the smell, but they were to strong and gave my wife a headache. Also the floor had small amounts of water coming through the flooring. The couch was extremely hard and difficult to sit on.

The location was great. Out of town but just a few minutes drive back to attractions. Nice little cabin with the big yard and field to walk the dogs.

The shower was too small. I’m a big man and barley had room to move in the shower. Very spotty cell signal but that’s not in your control. One of the chairs on screened in porch felt like it was going to fall apart.
