The walk to the beach and little town was perfect.

Expected a home that was kept up. These are items needing attention. Dirty dishes in washer when we arrived. The Dish washer farther in is not working properly, doesn't release the soap. Table not sturdy top is loose and feels like it needs tightening. A couple of the Dining table chairs are falling apart and dangerous Sink filthy when we arrived Fans are filthy Dish TV was not working - it appeared to not connect to the dish. Wooden stairs feel very dirty and sticky Garbage disposals both burp out crap in the other sink Missing plug in one sink upstairs. The listing did not portray the European bathrooms very well or state the lack of privacy. The 2 sleeping areas should not be stated as bedrooms. This area could have more of a family room feel to make it better.

The up-keep. It rained--water poured through the master window sill, ran down the wall into a huge hole in the sheetrock around the heating vent and an outlet. The sill is warped, bubbled and separated about 3/8 inch from the window. Very dangerous---can't believe it hasn't been fixed as it had obviously been there some time. The fridge under the sink leaks onto the floor, the 3rd or 4th stair to 3rd floor gives ; if it cracks or breaks, someone could fall through to the lower level. The railings on the stairs were filthy. WE cleaned them twice, have photos if you would like. Is a broken futon piled the floor against wall in living room (can't haul it away?). A cracked dining chair seat that pinches or may break on someone (can't haul it away?) No face cloths, no wine opener, no pepper, no hangers--found a few in the basement--no reading lamps in master or bed stands. Reading lamps in living room are two TV trays with goosenecks on them. Rugs in master had binding edges ripped from them and lying out on the floor--(you can't cut those off to clean it up?). Evidently the cleaning crew didn't see the bug filled spider webs in corners of main living room ceiling and floors in master. For the money we paid, it left a lot to be desired.
