Comfortable room, very clean, I liked it a lot! Walking distance from famous temple, big Buddha and the beach. And the hosts are so kind and friendly!

Excellent location near Hasedera temple, the beach is very close on foot too but what make this place special is their owners. Yuka and her husband were super welcoming and helpful. I loved the interior design of the place in a good Japanese minimalist style (Designed by the owner herself) small yet very comfortable. Yuka recommended we go for dinner to a place right across from their B&B and we had the best experience and Okonomiyaki meal of our entire trip. Before our departure Yuka treated us to her amazing coffee, I like to say Thank you to them and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kamakura.

Outstanding location, a short walk from the Daibutsu temple, the beach, and Hase Station! Beds were comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming--they were very understanding when we came back from the beach a little sandy (there's an outdoor faucet/hose you can use to clean off). Delicious espresso drinks (recommend the flat white)--the first one is free!

The toilet is not private, and it's very small (not enough room to stand), so if you're on the larger side it might be a struggle. The room we stayed in was close to the road and could be somewhat noisy--however, the staff thoughtfully provided ear plugs! :)

It’s a cozy place, with friendly host. We arrived there earlier before the checked in time, but once the room is ready, even it is still before the check in time, the host left us a message to inform us. This is so lovely, and we don’t have to wait under the sun until the check in time. By the way, the coffee made by the host is super!!!

Nice, modern and clean room. Complete and stylishly decorated. The hosts are really friendly and helpfull. Location is only 5 min walk from Hase railroad station. Supermarket just down the road. Beach just 10 min walk.

The room was spotless towels lovely and soft . The room needs black out blinds badly , it was also very noisy with traffic but not much can be done about that .

Very friendly welcome from the lovely couple who run this place. During check-in you will be provided with all the information you need. We booked the twin room. Very neat and clean room with private shower and sink. The toilet was shared, but it was very clean, as always in Japan! Because the room is on the street side, you will be offered earplugs. The location was ideal and 2 major attractions and the beach were within walking distance. The metro/train station was about a 5 minute walk. There are also enough restaurants and tents nearby. I would definitely recommend this to explore Kamakura. We were received very hospitably and the owners have ensured a lovely stay. We loved the design and the vintage items in the house. The owners noticed this, so just before checking out we where able to play a game of Resident Evil on one of the old vintage Apple Mac computers (which has been converted from inside into a Nintendo). This while enjoying 1 free drink per person that they offer you per stay. Once again a super welcoming and wonderful experience. To capture the moment we took a picture together to end our stay. It was a pleasure to meet the owners and we will definitely come back when visiting Kamakura! :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and nicely designed, the beds were comfortable and the coffee was delicious. Also the location is great. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, the train station is around the corner and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach.

A wonderful property with great owners who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The property is very close to popular attractions and public transportation. I would not hesitate to stay again.

The room was small and it was a bunk bed

The room was nice, and we practically had the place to ourselves (not sure if there was anyone else staying in the room downstairs). The weather was a little cold despite the time of year, but the room was plenty warm for both of us. The staff were really friendly and have prepared themselves well to speak any and all languages (I was impressed by the little notepad of essential phrases in many languages they had made for themselves). The coffee, too, should be mentioned - we received one free drink each, which we availed of on the second morning; very tasty! The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Daibutstu and Hasedera, and while there aren't many options for late dining, there are two convenience stores located just down the road from the hotel with plenty of great options.

The owners were so friendly and helpful and helped us learn to say things in Japanese too! It was so fun talking to them, also about architecture (they are architects). The location was perfect for seeing all of Kamakura especially the giant Buddha and hiking on the trails and seeing the other temples and shrines and the beach and going to fun restaurants!

Nothing, everything was great!

The location is good, near to the rail station, and very easy to access nearby attractions. It's a low-density area but near a convenience store, snack shops, a good Okinawa food restaurant that opens at night and a unique music box store. The house is easy to find, and the room is very clean and tidy. Hot and steady water for showers is good in winter. Also, the hosts are very friendly and polite, they can provide coffee in the morning, thanks for them providing everything!

I'm not used to the bed coverlet of this texture, maybe they can provide an extra quilt then it will be perfect.

The flooring is such a high quality. Everything is clean! The owner is very charming and friendly. They offer free drinks like coffee, latte… and milk or orange juice for kid.

The curtains are not fully light blocking type, so the room was a little bit “bright” during night.

The twin room faces the main road and the window is thin, so it was noisy the whole time. They provided ear plugs but it didn't help much. If you are sensitive, the twin bunk room is at the back of the house and supposedly very quiet.

Excellent coffee and delicious and healthy breakfast prepared by the host fresh every morning. Great location and proximity to station, beach and temples.
