I arrived very late due to ferry disruptions. The owner kindly left the room ready to walk in to so I could just arrive, sleep and appreciate the cottage in the morning. Exceptional and friendly.

extremely clean extremely well organized excellent breakfast. Very nice people that gives their best to make everything pleasant for the guests. it deserves more that 10.

The breakfast was wonderful with a variety of dry cereals, the fruit bowl was the best-a good assortment of fresh fruit, variety of breads to choose from, as well as 2 kinds of bought yogurt. Also, an assortment of teas & coffee- would have bee nice to have some soy milk. Thank you for this- this was definitely the highlight of staying here! Location was good/ enjoyed going to seeing the seals on the beachfront near by.

Judy and her darlings, Charlie and Alice were so lovely and welcoming. Wonderful home, extremely comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast was yummy with a good selection of breads, spreads, cereals and fruit and yogurt. Great coffee too. Felt very much at home. I will be back with the family next time. :-)

It was a very welcoming place. The unit had everything we needed and Judy the hostess was very friendly and helpful 😊

Judy was absolutely lovely, just an amazing person who was more than happy to give recommendations (all of which were fantastic ideas). Room was really lovely and bed was comfortable. We cannot thank Judy enough for what she did! If we are ever in Kaikōura again, we would definitely stay there again!

Motels are okay for quick stopovers but sometimes staying in a B&B is just better. Nice welcome from the host, useful tips on where to eat. Decent breakfast with friendly guests and a scary story from the host about the earthquake a few years back!

I couldn't work out how to lock my room door! then I realised I could leave it open anyway!!

felt a little bit strange sharing the lounge and kitchen areas with the owners but was all aok.

We are really happy with everything in Brook House, nice breakfast, excellent room, very clean and warm. We feel like in home. Judy thank you so much for everything, you are amazing Hoster you're doing great.

Everything! Awesome, quiet location with a beautiful view. Very large, with lots of room. Full-sized kitchen, excellent facilities with everything you need, super comfortable beds. Best place we have stayed in New Zealand so far.
