Cottage at the Coast
Dieses klassische Kiwi-Cottage am Strand ist der perfekte Ort, um zu fliehen und sich zu entspannen. Es gibt ein riesiges Deck zum Entspannen, das einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Whale und White Island bietet. Es gibt eine Hängematte und eine Schaukel in einem Baum, um die Aussicht zu genießen.
Es gibt viel Platz, um Zelte für die Kinder oder zusätzliche Gäste aufzustellen oder einen Camper / Caravan oder ein Boot zu parken.
Es dauert dreieinhalb Minuten, bis Sie den Sand zwischen Ihren Zehen am Strand spüren, der zum Angeln und Surfen einlädt.
Das Haus bietet Platz für 4 Personen. Ein Super-Kingsize-Bett im Schlafzimmer und Platz für ein paar Matratzen auf dem Boden in der Lounge. Oder schlagen Sie draußen ein paar Zelte auf.
Das Hub-Einkaufszentrum ist fünf Autominuten entfernt, die Stadt maximal zehn Autominuten. Es gibt eine Reihe von Golfplätzen in der Nähe sowie eine Bootsrampe.
Zusätzliche Angel-, Tauch- und Jagdausflüge können gegen Aufpreis arrangiert werden.
Es gibt ein Deck im Baum. GEH NICHT NACH OBEN, bitte. Es gibt keinen Zugang dazu, da ich keine Leute da oben haben möchte. Bitte respektiere dies.

We really appreciated the little details Paul has looked after to set this up so well. The location is great with a short walk to an empty sandy beach which goes for miles. So nice to wake up to views of whale and white islands

Was a lovely little place in the perfect spot to relax. Close enough to town for what we needed, but far enough out that we could enjoy the beach and relax. Our little dog loved his run around too.
Can't wait to be back again.

Stunning view of the ocean and surrounding islands from deck and bedroom. Great communication with friendly owner. Great dune walks. Friendly locals. Comfortable Bach. Walk to beach. Dog loved it as did we.

Perfect beach getaway with amazing views
Great little cottage and Paul is an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and will be back for sure. Even had a friendly goat in the mix.

A slice of heaven.
A truly wonderful spot with awesome view of the ocean. Being able to take our little pooch along with us was great and we all enjoyed the walks along the beautiful beach. Paul was a great host and decent down to earth guy. Really recommend this place.

Hey Paul,
We totally recommend your loverly little home. So peaceful and view was amazing. Our German Shepherd loved staying there too. Great sunsets, view of the ocean and Whakare Island, steaming away in the background and 5 mins to town!

Labour Weekend 2020
Had a great weekend at the Cottage. The view is amazing and easy to get to the beach. Paul was so easy to deal with and the property was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Also secure for our little dog and great we could take her.

Amazing views
We initially booked to stay 6 nights and then changed it to 8 nights because the views from this place are outstanding! It is 2 min walk to the beach and a short drive to town. Paul, the landlord, is an awesome guy who would go out of his way to make our stay more enjoyable. Our dogs absolutely loved the big garden and the walks on the beach. We would go back to this place with no hesitation.

This property has an amazing location with close beach access and walks. The view from the deck was so pretty and even in winter we were out there during the day with a glass of wine. The property is fully fenced so dog friendly. The cottage was super tidy and well maintained. There was also well stocked kitchen which was great to walk into.Paul the owner stayed in his shed behind the cottage during our stay and was very respectful of our privacy. He is friendly and easy to deal with. We would highly reccomend this place for a visit.

Great stay!

Fantastic
I can’t recommend this lovely cottage enough - either as a singles or couple retreat - but especially for those who love to take their dogs with them & have difficulty finding anywhere! It was just fantastic & would be even more wonderful in fine weather! Paul was so easy to communicate with, friendly & accommodating. Most definitely recommend & we’ll be coming back, for sure :)

East coast paradise
My partner and I had a relaxing 3 day stay at Paul's cottage.
Short walk to the beach where we caught snapper while surfcasting, everything you need and nothing you dont. Highly recommended from my partner and I!

Excellent
A wonderful beach house. Everything you need for a perfect stay, is available inside as well outside. Only a couple of minutes (by foot) to the beach for some walking or fishing. The view from the house is perfect.
Paul is a super host; friendly, helpful an very with a great hospitality.

Cottage at the Coast
Paul Speedy is a great host, friendly but discrete. When not using the cottage he is staying in the facility behind (out of sight and mind). The cottage facilities are very clean and homely in the limited space available (bedroom plus living/kitchen area). 5 minutes walk to an open beach and only a few minutes drive to Ohope. Great views to Motuora and White Islands. Between the cottage and the beach there is subdivision with houses being built.

I think with all the holiday home stays we have done, both here in NZ and overseas, your bed was the most comfortable thank you. Beautiful views, cosy place and dog friendly!
Paul's property was just gorgeous. A classic kiwi bach with stunning views of Moutohora Whale Island, an out-of-this-world comfortable bed, and a genuinely dog-friendly property. There's a beautiful beach nearby, the local river it's a great base to explpore not only Whakatane but also Papamoa, Tauranga and Te Urewera. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Four of us stayed. Place worked great with two of us sleeping in the house and two sleeping in the campervan on the lawn.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The Bach was small and cosy, yet had everything I needed. I particularly enjoyed the unexpected mod cons such as sky tv, a chrome cast and heated towel rail! Kitchen is very well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. But the best part was the location. The view was spectacular of the ocean and the island. Minutes walk to the beach, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks so much :)
