Truly a hidden gem. The location is superb, located just by the riverside. We took the unit on the highest floor with beautiful view from its balcony. If you have concern walking up the stairs with luggage or for older guests, please note that there's no lift. Walking distance to Jonker Street and many restaurants and bars around it. Property is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and clean. Unlimited supply of mineral water which is definitely a plus point. Parking is provided but need to walk a short distance, no issue for us. Owner was really kind to drop off some nonya kuih on the last day to go with the coffee & tea provided in the kitchen. Clear instructions to parking, check-in and check-out. Will definitely recommend to friends.

A small table and chairs for 4 (should be 6) . Should add a layer of curtains to divide the twin bed for 2 (the unit at ground floor) and the four.

The host is super wonderful.

It was seamless from checking in to checking out. Clear instructions were furnished by the host day prior. Property was clean, apartment was bright and location was convenient with an excellent view of Melaka River. A great homestay feel.

As the apartment was at the highest level, it was hot - it would have been good to have a ceiling fan or standing fans in the to cool the living area before the aircon coolness kicked in.

Beautiful decorations, location is great, 10-15 mins walk to jonkers Street/a famosa. Comfortable arrangement for a family of 1 couple plus 2 kids and elderly mother. Love the fact that the owner allocates a big hallway area for shoes so all guests arent wearing shoes in the apartments. Very lovely owner too, who gave us some nice kuih for free, I think it's a lovely gesture

The parking is a short walk away but area is a bit rundown but the fact that there's designated free parking in such a central location, we can't really complain so all is good!

great place in Melaka. the room very spacious. very comfotable with almost complete facilities. the location just beside Sungai Melaka, just beside famous jambatan kampung jawa. the view is great. walking distance from tourist attraction but a litlle bit calm from noisy town. great place to rest at night. should come again to this place for sure. very recomended. & a great host too. I ask for a little bit late check out the host just gift the approval without doubt...

Spotlessly clean, spacious accommodation with a helpful and responsive host.

Parking was 200 metres from the accommodation via a one way street, posing a slight inconvenience if travelling with a lot of luggage.

The location was great, just a few minutes walk from Jonker street and only a bridge away from a nice small bar area. The scenery around the house was good as well and the house was clean and looked stylish.

It was a bit noisy and you could hear everything that happend outside

Oh my how do I start... I love love love everything about this place. I previously stayed at 1852 and I wondered what this building next door was. Can't believe my luck I managed to stay here this time around. Units are limited btw. It's a self check in so please inform owner 30 minutes before eta. They will give you a complete instruction on where to park etc. If you are not driving, just ask the driver to drop you off, near the Jambatan Kg Jawa or else you need to walk quite a distance with luggage (if you have any) from the designated car park. It's a one way road so please be quick. The unit is spacious, as it can accommodate 6 adults complete with all the amenities mentioned. Some review mentioned about the mosquitoes... Surprisingly they're not the biting type or they simply don't bite us. Don't worry, the host did provide mosquitoes repellent at every corner of the unit. It is situated just next to the Melaka River... So the view was indeed something... Simply love the scenery early in the morning and at night. You can definitely hear the sound of the river cruise up until 11 if you are staying at the lower level. But honestly... it didn't bother me. Most of the time we are already fast asleep or already on our way out to enjoy daily walk in Melaka. It is within walking distance to Jonker, Stadthuys and Melaka River Cruise. Cafes are abundance. This is the best choice in term of location, pricing and if you are travelling in big pax. Plus point, Victor the host graciously belanja us nyonya kuih for breakfast. Thank you so much Victor. If I ever come to Melaka, I will surely stay here again

Well equipped, family friendly

Not suitable for elderly with mobility issues, only stairs access

This is a hidden gem, really. An excellent "hideout" if I may say. We got the top floor, which was nice, meant to be a family suite with 2 bedrooms. Love the high ceiling and it's pretty quiet. Furnished with enough amenities, there is even a proper 3M water filter located at the sink, for literally "unlimited" water supply. The toilet is nicely furnished and the host even provides shampoo and bath foam. Excellent. Rooms are quiet, and sheets are clean.

Parking - could have been better. Not the Host's fault. It's just where it is located. It's a pretty cramped street being next to the river and all. Parking was in an adjacent building & we had to lug our luggage, even when in the rain. Also the parking - really not suitable unless you're driving a Perodua Ativa or small car....

The place is so convenient and clean. Our 2nd time there and never regretted booking there. This will be our first choice whenever we are in Melaka.
