From the advert on Booking.com, this looked like a Hotel, It even calls itself Kings House Hotel. When my colleagues arrived it was someone's private house. If we had have wanted that we would have booked on Air BNB. Very disappointed and did not stay. Have sent a complaint to Customer Services, Booking.com

Twin room was a bit hot - the heating had been left on all day. Not a fault of the owners, but the neighbours were a bit noisy

It was clean and very well maintained

The owners came to my room and told that I had check out at 930 , I told reminded them that it was two days so they said they have mentioned in their policy that everyday we have to check out at 930 and re he on at 5pm , which is not mentioned in the anywhere in website I had no car and it was very disturbing , I had friend visiting and were telling me that I did not mention that that person is coming to see me Please let me know if they mentioned somewhere that I missed this point that I had to check out during day and only stay at night

location was good, very clean and tidy, and very friendly.

i booked at very short notice, the host was very nice, the room was very clean and tidy with excellent bathroom.

the only downside was the TV was very small but only because I have eye issues.

If I said how really, really good Kings' House is, it would become so popular, I would not be able to book again myself, so I won't say it's good, No, it's really, really good. Fab hosts, fab house, fab location. It's my go-to in the future for trips to Hertford.
