We had reserved Sunrise Remal Beach Resort, but during our stay it was still closed for renovations, so we were offered alternative accommodation in the same conditions at the sister hotel Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort. Therefore, this review refers to Sunrise Arabian. The property is exceptionally well maintained, the all-inclusive package is very diverse, and the staff is always prompt in responding to any requests. There are several different pools, and we particularly enjoyed the "Relax" (adults-only) pool, which was quiet and not crowded. The food at the international buffet restaurant NORA was good quality, and everything was quickly replenished. The hotel has a small house reef with easy access from a pontoon, where snorkeling was very pleasant, as we could see many colorful fishes every day. The room was large, with good bathroom amenities, and a nice view (garden and partial sea-view) from the balcony. Very beautiful gardens too.

We had booked our stay about 6 months in advance, but when the dates approached it turned out Sunrise Remal Beach Resort was still closed for renovation. After communicating with the hotel (chain) staff, we were promptly offered alternative accommodation at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort, in the same conditions, at no extra cost. Therefore, this review refers to Sunrise Arabian. Check-in and check-out were swift and simple, so the alternative offer was correctly registered in their system. We also received a complimentary room upgrade. The location is also relatively close to the airport, about 15 min. by taxi. Sunrise Arabian is excellently designed and maintained, with beautifully landscaped gardens and enough facilities to cater for so many guests. Although we heard that during our stay it was almost fully booked, it never felt crowded. There were enough sun loungers by the pools and at the beach, tables in the main restaurant NORA were quickly prepared for the next guests, food always replenished etc. The all-inclusive package allows guests to use the a-la-carte restaurants as well, but we were extremely satisfied with restaurant NORA, with a wide variety of Arabic and international food, fresh salads, fruits, excellent bread and pastries, so we could choose our favourite things every day. All the staff we saw in the resort were very professional, efficient and polite. I will not mention any names here, because literally all the staff we saw and interacted with were very nice - in the NORA restaurant and the Churchill bar, at the pool (we mainly used the Relax adults-ony pool and at the beach pontoon, at the reception, the room cleaning staff, the gardeners and so on. We were impressed by how well organized all the hotel operations are: the restaurant hall supervisors, the head chef, the guest relations representative, and even the resort's general manager are always around and open to communicating with the guests.

The stuff and location are exceptional. The food was pretty good.

The hotel is a bit old and that feels when you are there. The AC had a very bad smell, but was fixed when asked about it. The drinks are very poor quality.

We stayed at the sister resort Arabian which is honestly the best place we have ever stayed at. The food to the snorkeling off the jetty. Wow wow wow. Clean rooms friendly staff.

Best holiday we ever had! Everything was perfect: great variety of food&drinks, services, pools, room&view, cleaning, staff was super nice and helpful, corals & fish are beautiful, entertainment day&night, shops in the hotel (mini market with local sweets & snacks, sunglasses & jewellery, perfume shop with oils, teas and spices, etc). The hotel is close to the airport (10 minutes by taxi), but it is not disturbing or noisy at all. The corals and fish are amazing!!! You can only go into the water through a not very long jetty (we could see longer ones in the neighbour hotels), however there is a small sandy beach but the water is shallow, and you can't go deeper due to the corals. Unfortunately, many people tried to get into the water through the corals, which destroys the corals, that's why I mention it. Hotel offers diving services as well for extra charge, but snorkeling is more than enough, we could see hundreds of different kind of fish all the time during snorkeling, smaller and 1meter long ones as well, and pink,blue, green, red, yellow corals. Every day we saw something new while snorkeling, it was amazing! Lots of sunbeds available by the pools and the beach as well. Evening entertainment was in the sister hotel (Sunrise Remal resort - 100meters walk or 2 minutes with the hotel bus), so this hotel (Beach) is more quiet, and in my opinion this hotel is better if you prefer relaxing more than to party. I highly recommend this hotel if you like snorkeling rather than just swimming in the sea, and if you like good food, good beer, and friendly & super helpful staff and want to have a relaxing holiday! We got a free upgrade from standard room to room with pool view, Thank you Sunrise Remal Beach! :-)
