The free shuttle from the airport and to surrounding areas of tourist interest make the Capital Residence very worthwhile to stay. Brunei is spread out and difficult to get around as it is very car oriented. The downtown area is an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel is definitely not luxurious but staying here is going to make your overall experience in Brunei a lot more enjoyable. All of the staff were very helpful and dependable. I also liked the fact that I met other international travelers staying at the Capital Residence.

There are very limited choices for breakfast. No scramble eggs and omelette. Coffee is so diluted.

The staff at breakfast restaurant should ask the guess what they want besides the few dishes available.

In terms of location, it is a bit far from city centre.

Location was ok , pick up & drop to Airport .

They charged me 93 $ extra, giving some stupid reason saying there was a spillover of Ink on bed Quilt, but this was something which was from Housekeeping itself, because when i left the room, everything was ok, intelligently housekeeping put the blame on me. In my 15 years of travel i never had such a situation while hotel had to blame i spilled over some ink on the Quilt. i just got a feeling that they were recovering now the losses they had during COVID.

Great spot, parking was ample and secure, elevator works and spacious, walking distance around the property was best and wheelchair friendly.

it was too quite during night time (not too scary as they were ample lamps and all… maybe it was just me) hehehhe oh! i dont know where to put my weekend bag. it wud have been nice if you could provide something lika small table. but everything i assure you to my top likings

We had a relaxing stay and the staff is helpful. The location is good to go to the food street and restaurants and is quiet as well.

Nice room, nice view, really good breakfast, central location. Convenient shuttle around the city and to/from the airport. Great hotel choice !

Everything was great there! The staffs were super super nice and helpful! My sister and I really enjoyed the time there. Special thanks to the driver Arif and the staff Stanley and the girl from front desk (probably the boss) and also other staffs (we didnt know their names lol) Anyway, all the staffs there were super friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped us a lot!! We were really grateful 🥹 The room was clean. The housekeepers did very great jobs. The location is good. The hotel also offered shuttle bus so it was easy for us to visit the spots. We were trying to take ferries to kota kinabalu but we were not sure about the schedule. Arif, Stanley, the front desk and some other staffs tried their best to help us and we finally got into the ferry. We already miss this hotel and the staffs there!!! We hope that we will come back and visit this hotel.

A bit inflexible with their shuttle, even though they didn’t have many guests, sometimes our request was declined. it is generally hard to get around in Brunei.

Great breakfast, central location, beds were comfy about 8 level firmness. The staff could not have been more helpful! Best service we have ever had. Hotel is dated but perfect for the price.
