I liked everything.

Easily accessible (5min walk from the pier), basic but comfortable. Great value for money. Super friendly & helpful hosts, arranged motorbike rent , laundry service & taxi to the bus station when we were leaving. Great bed, quiet a/c.

Room a bit stuffy, since we choose the one with no windows.

The hotel is in a good location and had everything we needed for our one night stay after travelling from Cambodia. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in sorting out our onward travel. The room was a good size.

Everything was good

The staff at Dong Bao was great, especially the lady manning reception during the day. They were very helpful when it comes to tours and taxis, even a bus to Cambodia.

My issue is with the hotel itself -- it's old, I can hear the elevator chiming, and worst of all, my room smelled like sewage. No idea where it came from, but it was so pungent. It very gradually faded over time but the smell was almost unbearable it made me gag a few times. Another thing is that the neighborhood isn't that great, it feels a bit unsafe especially at night. Lastly, this is a bit expensive for the value and I feel like I could've found something better for the same price.

The value for money here is really great. The rooms have all the basic facilities, are spaceous and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us book a ferry to Phnom Penh, they even ordered a special vegetarian meal for us on request and laid the table in the reception area after we had checked out. I would really recommend this hotel.

For this price, I think it couldn’t have been better.
