My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Orton Waterville Residence in Peterborough for a two-night getaway, and overall, our experience was very positive. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a bed that provided us with a restful sleep throughout our stay. The bathroom amenities, including the provided shower gel and shampoo, were a nice touch and added to the convenience of our stay. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast selection. We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of options available, including coffee, tea, porridge, bread, jam, butter, milk, yogurt, cereal, and juice. It was great to have everything we needed to start our day right at our fingertips. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here. The comfortable room, excellent breakfast selection, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay.

However, we did encounter a minor issue with the window in our room. Upon returning to our room one evening, we discovered that the window had been left open and we were unable to be properly closed. As a result, we experienced some discomfort due to the cold air during the night. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did detract slightly from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Too cold at night

Breakfast at an Air BnB is always a bonus. The lovely hosts here offer you a bedroom with a shower and loo plus a dining kitchen / sitting room for your exclusive use. Bread for toasting, cereals, yoghurt, milk and OJ all provided. Parking off road is provided and plenty of books, games etc should you wish too.

I would remove some of the unnecessary items in the bedroom to provide more space for example on the dresser top.

The hospitality from the host was outstanding, the space of the apartments is great also.

The curtains permitted the light to come in the room way too much, by 5 am the entire room was comepletely bright and could not sleep. The apartment is located on a fairly busy road in terms of traffic and windows are single glazed, therefore, very noisy until late and early morning.

Small and cosy with parking. Clean and all the facilities you’d expect for a great price.

Communication with host prior to stay was good, the room was spacious and comfortable and had everything i needed for my stay, host was caring and helpful and it felt like i was at home, overall a place i would definitely use again.

I liked everything about this place. The host had gone the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. I had a big double bedroom with a chair and desk, plus en-suite and separate shower cubical. Lovely comfortable bed with bedside table and lamp on both sides. Then, I also has sole use of a kitchen/lounge next door, with cutlery, crockery, microwave, a fridge stocked with fruit juice, milk and yogurts, a sofa. There was even a plug-in hob if had needed it, and pots and pans galore. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom and kitchen/lounge, both fully stocked with tea and coffee, and a TV in both rooms....really spoilt for choice...everything including a kitchen sink! Breakfast cereals like oats, muesli and granola supplied. Very tasteful and interesting decor, ornaments, paintings etc.

We loved staying at this property. It was very comfortable and had everything and more that we required for a one night stay. We were warmly welcomed by the host's daughters and provided wonderful information on the area and where best to eat. Nice to have breakfast provided.
