Luxury Ring of Kerry Holiday Cottage
Unser kürzlich renoviertes irisches Bauernhaus strahlt ein Gefühl von Weite und Gemütlichkeit aus. Durchdachte Akzente und sanfte gedämpfte Töne, die mit den natürlichen Elementen Holz, Schiefer und Stein gemischt sind, sowie moderne Akzente aus Glas und Chrom verbinden sich mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten, um ein entspanntes und komfortables Zuhause zu schaffen.
Die Schlafzimmer
Es gibt drei schöne Schlafzimmer mit Bad, die Platz für 6 Personen in Luxus bieten. Wir können auch zwei zusätzliche Gäste in bequemen Klappbetten unterbringen und ein Kinderbett für jeden unserer kleinen Gäste zur Verfügung stellen.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügen über Zip-Link-Betten, die von Super-Kingsize-Betten in zwei Einzelbetten umgewandelt werden können. Diese Flexibilität bedeutet, dass Sie als Familie oder als Gruppe von Freunden die Unterkunft nach Ihren Wünschen gestalten können. Das gesamte Erdgeschoss des Hauses wird durch eine Fußbodenheizung schonend erwärmt.
Die Lebensräume
Die offenen zeitgenössischen Wohnräume vermitteln ein Raumgefühl. Die große Küche / Esszimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem Herd mit Doppelbackofen, Grill und Wok-Brenner, einer Mikrowelle, einem großen Toaster und einem amerikanischen Kühl- / Gefrierschrank mit Eiswasserspender. Der Hauswirtschaftsraum verfügt über eine Waschmaschine, einen separaten Wäschetrockner und Trocknungsmöglichkeiten. Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und hell mit hohen Gewölbedecken, einem Holzofen und großen Schiebetüren, die auf das Tal blicken. Für Ihre Unterhaltung bieten wir Sky-TV, einen DVD-Player, ein Radio mit iPod-Dockingstation und unbegrenztes WLAN. Es gibt auch eine separate Studie.
Draußen gibt es auch eine große Scheune, in der Sie Ihre Fahrräder, Kajaks und Surfbretter waschen, trocknen und lagern können.

Beautiful house in a great, quiet location. We enjoyed our stay. There is really nothing missing, the kitchen is well equipped and the sleeping situation with the separate bathrooms is very comfortable. We would gladly come back and can highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful, spacious farmhouse that’s perfect for a group. Spectacular views towards Sneem! The host offered many thoughtful touches, such as provisions for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Between the incredible views, sheep, privacy and property all to ourselves, and the gorgeous 3 bedrooms - we could not have had a better stay. Our kids had a section of the house to themselves, while the other adults had other sections that were totally private. The kitchen was incredible, the dining room views were beautiful, as well as the views off the patio of the living room. We also enjoyed fires, movies from the movie room (and our streaming accounts), runs, and we just loved the town of Sneem (we visited grocers and butchers there and were able to do all our shopping in town). This is one of the best places we have stayed, and our party frequently travels and travels internationally. Highly highly recommend!!!

This house is really lovely - fabulous views across the mountains and out to sea in the distance. Beautiful house in a very remote location, gorgeous starry skies at night - The house was spotless, the kitchen was really well equipped and everything felt brand new - even our teenagers loved this house and we would defo want to return. The property is superb and situated in a brilliantly remote location. It is very comfortable, furnished to a high standard and equipped with everything you might need for when the weather closes in. Communications with the owner and housekeeper were straightforward and we were made to feel welcome. The farmhouse conversion must rank among the nicest places to spend a relaxing few days.

This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed having the supplies for a lovely breakfast following our arrival. The views of the countryside can be enjoyed from the large windows where you can watch the sheep in the fields and the changing weather.

We stayed at three exceptional properties during our holiday in Ireland, but this was our favorite. The home was not only gorgeous in an idyllic setting, but it was thoughtfully prepared perfectly for our stay, with EVERYTHING we possibly needed. Susan & Siobhan were excellent communicators & we felt had an issue arose, we would have been well cared for. Thankfully we had no issues. We would happily return to valley of the hare. If ever given the opportunity we would make one change-we would stay much longer!

One of the best properties we have ever rented! The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and set in a spectacular location. Very clean, comfortable and the host has left all those extra touches like breakfast, condiments and toiletries which really sets this rental apart from the rest. We were all very sad to leave and hope to be back soon!

The Sneem Dream!
If you are looking to get away and have that quintessential Irish dream in your head, it CAN become a reality because this is it. Our family was blown away by this property and the attention to detail that Susan and Siobahn provided during our stay. From having breakfast foods in the fridge for us upon arrival to the meticulous detail that was put into the remodel of this property, we could not have been happier with our stay. When we travel we want to get a sense of how people in the area live and we were certainly able to do that by interacting with Paul, the farmer next door and his son who were so welcoming during our stay as well. Having sheep for neighbors was really incredible and the peacefulness we felt here was sublime. The hiking trail leading into the hills behind the house was one of the highlights of our trip. If you want to connect with nature this is the place to do it. We hope to be back someday soon!

Perfect relaxation
We absolutely love staying here. This was our third time to enjoy this house and all that comes with it. The farm house is so relaxing and helps you rewind from a busy life . We hiked and golfed and explored the area. The owners are very responsive and keep the property in tip top shape. We would definitely stay here again and again . .

It is a beautiful blend of modern (lots of windows to view the landscape) and small stone buildings surrounding the property. Clean and well-appointed! The tiny town is friendly and shopping was great. Three days was not enough time! We loved it!

The house is beautifully and sensitively restored, nestling into the landscape perfectly. The views, in particular from the living room and the upstairs bedroom, are spectacular.
Everything you need is stocked, pantry items and a full range of herbs and spices, a welcome pack to allow for breakfast the next morning, more than enough table ware, utensils etc, toiletries in the bathrooms and gorgeous linens and towels, nicer than many hotels!
It’s a house you want to spend time in, rather than just a base to explore the surrounding area. Even our dog didn’t want to leave!
The house is just over 10 minutes from Sneem and the peacefulness of the surrounding landscape adds to the sense of escape.
We will most definitely be back, I can only imagine how cosy the house would be in winter time!

Outstanding luxury in a unique setting
We have just returned from 5 days in the Valley of the Hare and it was simply perfection - warm and comfortable with beautiful linens and a fantastic kitchen with every facility imaginable. The surroundings are even better - a little remote but all the better for that - spectacularly unique and wonderful walking on the doorstep. The owners have done a magnificent job of restoring this farmhouse and we hope to return soon.

Amazing home
I have stayed in many properties over the years, but this one was special. Beautifully designed, impeccably clean, comfortable beds, places to sit and chat, wonderful kitchen with breakfast food for the first morning, quiet location on land surrounded by sheep, cows, hills. We could have lived there forever. Short drive to Sneem (which is on the Ring of Kerry) where there are restaurants, groceries, ice cream, shops, and friendly people. We even walked the trail that passes through the property into town one morning. Part of the trail was thickly lined with wild blackberry's which we couldn't stop eating. It was a magical relaxing place with everything we needed. It may be the first time a stay somewhere was perfect. Thank you!

Amazing property in a stunning location
Without a doubt, this is the best holiday cottage that we have ever stayed in. We first stayed six years ago and we were worried that it might not be as good this time, we need not have been concerned - it was just as perfect as before. You simply could not ask for more from a holiday property.

Truly a special place!
Tucked in the valley and surrounded by sheep and beautiful views we found the home. Amazing kitchen, heated floors, comfy beds, what a truly special place to stay. It was so hard to leave especially with a clear night the last night...oh my the stars!!!

Ireland Countryside Gem
The property is the perfect combination of old and new. The outside of the house fits perfectly with the hillside and history of the area while the inside is nicely appointed with all the modern amenities. You feel as though you could call the Valley of the Hare home, permanently. The view from the living room is stunning and the patio is just right for your morning coffee or tea. The morning light cascading across the hills of Sneem surpassed even the Cliffs of Kerry. We enjoyed hillwalking on the property behind the house, where two hidden lake gems are located. Stay here if you want to experience everything lovely about the Ireland countryside.

Irish holiday perfection
We were bowled over by the quality and attention to detail at Valley of the Hare. From the generous welcome breakfast package to every kitchen item being stocked and the high standard of the furnishings and accommodation, we felt we were enjoying a luxurious break in one of the most picturesque places we’ve visited. The views from every window of the house are truly special. Little details like wellies to borrow we’re appreciated and Siobhan the housekeeper was very handy with her advice about local attractions and a butcher recommendation. We loved every moment. Wonderful!
My husband and I along with 2 other couples stayed in The Valley of the Hare. We all loved the place and would recommend it to friends. The house was stunning and the owner was easy to work with. She provided breakfast for our first morning, which was very nice, since we were unfamiliar with the town. Upon arrival we were welcomed and told about many places we could eat and places to explore.The house is well equipped and very clean. Bathrobes were provided in all three bathrooms along with bath supplies(shampoo, shower gel,etc). The beds were comfortable which provide very comfortable sleep after returning from a long day of exploring. If you are into watching movies, she had an extensive collection to choose from, all different genres. We travel a lot and have stayed in many different houses and countries. I would rank this at the top of any place we have stayed.

We have stayed in more than a dozen VRBO locations in multiple countries. The unparalleled view through the huge door out the back, the highest quality bedding, bathing, and cooking facilities combine to make the Valley of the Hare our favorite stay so far!

Superb. Incomparable beauty.
Many of the reviews already discuss the excellent amenities at this location. I have stayed at many wonderful 4 star hotels and found this cottage to be on par with those locations, so I will not re-iterate what others have already discussed. However, I would prefer to stay here in comparison to many four star hotels because of the incredible location and that bears review. The view from every single window in this cottage stopped me in my tracks. I spent hours watching the play of light crossing over the fields and forest. I woke early every morning to stroll among the sheep and examine the ever changing view, one morning mountains wreathed with mist, another morning they were capped with snow. The sun rising pink and gold. Even the rain clouds swirling past captured the imagination. One night as I was lounging in front of the log burner a hare came to the back door and examined me for a few minutes, and every morning a tiny bird with an orange breast visited the front lawn while my family had breakfast. Yes, the linens are wonderful, the beds comfortable, the kitchen beautifully stocked. The housekeeper Siobhan took care of us like we were family. But when I think of Ireland I will think of this place, and the view out every window. As we drove down the lane away from Valley of the Hare my heart broke a little bit. What an incredible, beautiful place. Soon it will be impossible to get a booking because anyone who comes here will want to return. I hope I will too.

Perfect Irish Cottage
The Valley of the Hare Cottage has been our favorite home to stay in not only on this trip but all of our trips!
Luxury is definitely an apt description.
Everything is provided that a guest could possibly need and you can tell that the owner takes great pride and care in her home. The Cottage itself has been renovated tastefully whilst keeping that homey feel and has plenty of room. Our family of 5 adults was very comfortable. The whole process was easy and the owner has great communication! We also loved how it's in a more secluded area while being within driving distance to many attractions. (The sheep are adorable neighbors) The welcome basket was a wonderful touch with all its goodies and the Cottage is well stocked with many spices and some basic food items. We found the guidebook also very helpful! The Cottage itself was very clean which is something we are picky about.
All in all we would come back in a heart beat and will be telling all our friends about this lovely place! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Great Vacation Stay
The house was exactly as pictured and provided a great stay for the 6 of us. The bedrooms and 3 baths were comfortable and clean. Great views of the mountains and the lake off to the distance. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The home provided a welcome relaxation after a days of travel around the Ring of Kerry, Kenmare, Kilarney, and Dingle. Sneem is a quaint town to relax, enjoy the pubs, and has a convenient grocery store. We were very pleased and would recommend this home to others.

Amazing! Perfect in every way!
We traveled around Ireland for two weeks with 8 people. Susan's home in Sneem was the place that we all can't stop talking about. It was so comfortable and beautifully appointed. Susan really thought of every detail! From the radiant heat floors, the kitchen that has anything and everything you could need, the incredible views, cozy robes, and everything in between. One of the three days that we stayed, we hiked up the hills behind the house to picnic at the base of a waterfall! One of our best days!!! We've already decided that if we get to return to Ireland, the Sneem house is where we will go! Thank you, Susan, for making our stay so lovely.

absolutely wonderful home in the countryside
Nothing short of amazing. Quiet setting away from it all but yet a short drive into town for anything you may need. Hostess was a life saver as driving in we had a flat and her husband met us where we were stranded and changed it in no time while she took me and all the luggage to the house to get settled. Much more than we could have hoped for clean, well stocked, lovely home.

Incredible farmhouse in gorgeous setting
The Valley of the Hare is a fantastic home, immaculate and beautifully decorated, comfy beds and sheets and even robes, we truly felt like we were at a five star spa resort! The house has an expansive uninterrupted view of the valley and mountains in the distance, we sat for hours just enjoying the peaceful setting and views. We were so fortunate to stay during lambing season and the working farm that the property shares was fully of gorgeous babies to watch. The house is designed so well with three separate very private suites each with en suite bathroom, we had young and old in our group and the house was perfect for us all! Enough privacy and also togetherness too! The kitchen was well stocked and Susan even provides a few basics to make cooking at home easy ( we actually only ate out once as we enjoyed being at the house so much!). Susan was a delight to work with and I highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed! We cannot wait to return, hopefully soon!
