Perfect, quiet location for our visit to Lake George area. The cabin with generous rooms and cozy porch was a delightful change from same-old hotel rooms. We enjoyed walking our dog around the wooded, wildflower-strewn grounds. Available wood made a toasty evening fire the perfect conclusion to a day on the lake.

The pool gate was locked frequently, during the posted swimming hours. The pool appeared very clean and inviting.

The WiFi was unusable, so there wasn't any entertainment in our Cabin at all.

I liked that it is quiet, the pool was very nice and we had all the amenities we needed. It was clean. The fire pit was nice too.

The cabin is crooked, the cinder blocks are not straight and it looks kinda dangerous as the post on the blocks is not centered. I realize the cabins are old but it raised safety concerns with me. Also, is the water from the bathroom sink supposed to just empty onto the ground underneath the cabin?

The pool was closed Thursday when we got there and we booked a treehouse and ended up in the lodge

I did not see that meals were an option. We planned accordingly. We found everything we needed to cook or make coffee with ease with a few acceptions which I will mention in the next question. The privacy in the Boat cabin #6 was perfect. I loved the view from the cute porch with a cool hammock swing, tabe for 4 and shades for more privacy at that level and to block out the sun if needed. The cooler on the porch was BIG bonus because the fridge was tiny. The pool was visable from our porch.

I wish there was a frying pan to make bacon and eggs for breakfast since I packed a dozen and a slab. I ended up using the microwave for that which I would have prefferred the waffle maker or flat iron as mentioned in ammenities. The shower was very small. I don't know how my big husband managed but that was his only complaint. A broom would have been nice. Sorry, I couldn't sweep out as instructed but my broom was in for repair. LOL. I had to ask about the trolly. There was no information given unless you asked. The boat was dirty and smelly. I would have like to enjoy a glass of wine and a game of cards at the table in the boat but could only take a few photos. The office at check in time was vacant and dark. Not very welcoming.

Day one all of our groceries (about $200 worth), got completely eaten my mice. There were droppings in all the drawers. The wifi was nonexistent and made it impossible to connect to anyone unless standing outside. The beds were AWFUL, we got little to no sleep each night because of the springs being so incredibly worn and hard. The staff were not super welcoming. I’ve stayed many places in LG and would suggest spending your money elsewhere. Tons of food wasted and more money down the drain than when we started. Not worth what they are charging.

Our bathroom was not clean upon arrival and we couldn’t get the TV to connect. I sent and email to staff but nobody ever came. The front office also never seemed to be open.

Loved the cute little cabin. So nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the view.
