Very clean and comfortable apartment, well appointed, within the centre of Siena. Close to a supermarket also. Very friendly hosts and easy to check in. Will certainly stay here again!

The location was very good and extremely central. Close to everything and even a nearby taxi stand for when we needed access to the train station on weekends. The apartment is very clean and modern. Unfortunately there is no view per say. The apartment was bright with daylight without the heat of direct sunlight on windows. If you crane your head into the bedroom window you can see the Torre del Mangia tower. Otherwise you are viewing a old brick wall across the street with some very friendly and entertaining pigeon roosts. The host and Siena Apartment company is very attentive and helpful! We would highly recommend this apartment and Siena Apartment Co. Host was quick to assist with multiple requests and needs during our 30 day stay. They got us tickets to the coveted Palio horse race, helped secure an appointment for a haircut and color, called a plumber when one of the shower drains was not draining properly, called a technician when the AC unit needed FreeOn gas to properly cool. They were very attentive via WhatApp text messaging with any and all questions or concern; and always very professional and friendly. We really appreciated that this 1-bedroom unit had 2 bathrooms. This made our stay much more convenient and comfortable. Also loved the washer and dryer units in the apartment. Kitchen appliances and gas stove were great. Online property photos were accurate and we appreciated being on the top floor with no overhead noise and a very reliable lift/elevator in a very private and quiet building.

Maybe the standards for extended stay apartment rentals is slightly lower for Italy than USA,: as we were based in Siena at this Siena Apartment il Tololmei, but we also rented VRBO and AirBNB rentals while we visited Rome and Florence on other weekends. We had to purchase some basic needed items here in Siena: a shower caddy, towel drying hooks closer to the shower, wine glasses (in a Tuscany apartment), a spatula, 3 glass resealable storage containers for leftover food (since we were a 30 day stay). We had shower drain problems at 2 of our other Italy rentals in addition to here.. This might be just characteristic of the very old buildings. This apartment is advertised and promoted as having "soundproof windows" which is definitely not the case. The central location of the apartment along a busy cobblestone pedestrian street made for noise all night long. We could hear simple passers-by conversations until we would fall asleep. The noise from the Palio July 2 week long special event was expected and anticipated but the windows were still far from soundproof. It is also unfortunate the the windows only open a few inches slanted down and don't really allow you to stick you head out to view anything or allow a a cooler evening breeze. So we had to keep the air-conditioning running the entire time we were in the apartment. It would be nicer IF we didn't have to have physical keys instead of an access door code. The primary bathroom vent/fan doesn't work like the other bathroom to clear shower steam and odors.

The flat was in an ideal location to Il Campo, steps away. Siena is very walkable and this location is central. The flat was new and.clean. And the elevator was a fantastic perk. I was met within a couple of minutes of arriving at the flat. All went very smoothly.
