Nice guesthouse very close to the temple. Quiet location with helpful host.

Location

My room was infested with big ants that crawled up the wall and into the double bed, which was pushed against the wall. I slept in the separate single bed for three nights to avoid the ants. It was uncomfortable. I have videos of the ants. The AC was never cold enough. The toilet paper offered upon check in was already half used and I was never offered a new roll or there was never an extra roll. I had to go get it from the host myself. Towels were not changed and by the second day they stunk. The room was beside a small T-junction of sorts where motorcycles passed by all the time. It was noisy. The mattresses of both beds were horrendous.

Great location and very kind host. He also helped me rent a motorbike and picked me up from the bus station. Considering the price I think it was worth the stay. Close to restaurants and convenience stores. Borobodur is just a 2 minute- walk away.

Room was right beside the road, and you could easily hear the voices of passers-by, which can be alarming at midnight.

Pak Yitno was very friendly and helpful. We were provided with drinking water in dispenser where it also provided hot drinking water. The location is very near to Borobudur and St Petrus Catholic church on Jl. Balaputradewa, where also many street food and mini supermarket located. The unit was on small alley so the only noise came from passerby on the motorbike, but not too disturbing for us. The water heater and pressure for shower was good. Towels were provided but we need to bring our own toileteries, which was not a problem for us. One room has air con and the other room has wall fan, but it was sufficient for us, we just need to open all bedroom doors. The unit looks very traditional and the bedroom doors' height were about 175 cm, so taller people need to bend down a little to go through. A little quiet season this time around as we visited during fasting month, but the street buzz starts around 5pm where people finish work and about to break from the fasting, so all kinds of food and entertainments around the entrance of Borobudur.

All good. Facilities were for necessity, not luxury. I wish the backdoor can be open so the air could flow better, but probably it's locked (can't be opened) for safety reason.

Easy to reach, quiet during the night. Clean room, good Wifi.

Location, close to the Borobudur temple (10 min walking). Very welcoming host, provided us snacks and fruits, helped to buy a ticket for sunrise tour. Close to food places.

Lovely home, and a lovely host who was kind enough to drive us in the morning to the Borobudur Sunrise tour (although, in actual fact, the monument was only 10 minutes away on foot!). Also provided us with snacks at night :)

A breakfast option would have been nice!
