Great location, huge size, perfect view, parking available, far enough from the road (at the same time not too far), perfectly equipped apartment and the yard (try to find a better place with barbecue and jacuzzi). Good kitchen (coffee machine has several adapters for different coffee capsules), that and also some spices are there, that might definitely help. If willing to spend some time in front of the tv (Don't Do So, better just look at the lake, but if) there are plenty of DVDs also! Good set. Last but not the least - have never seen so much involved host. Alexander has explained just everything starting from check-in instructions, video, ending with desired advices on where to eat and get local cheese.

Didn't understand the way some of the remote controls work. Guide to jacuzzi would help.

Absolutly amazing place, with an epic view from the terrace. Wonderful spacious place with a jacuzzi and sauna. Highly recommend to anybody! 10/10!

Beautifully-oriented and large flat way up on the hill overlooking Lake Como. We are a family of 4 and had plenty of space to spread out. The large veranda and easy outdoor parking are the biggest attributes, for sure. Beds and amenities were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub, though it was not warm enough to use it the first day we were there. That was a bummer. Host was accessible by phone and explained what we needed to do to get it warmed up (which took several hours). We would have liked to use it upon check-in after a busy day. Kitchen was stocked.

Location-wise, it is in a bit of a tricky spot. Not knowing anything about Lake Como prior to this visit, we didn't realize how difficult it was going to be to get around/ to restaurants. We had a rental car, but we ended up keeping it parked most of the time because it is difficult to find parking most areas and we didn't want that hassle. Plus, driving on that road is not a good idea if you plan on drinking! The C10 bus runs once/hour and you are at the behest of the schedule. You cannot safely walk along the road at Colonno. And you'd better be in good shape walking up/down the hill to the flat. Knowing what I know now, I may have selected to be in a more central and walkable spot. You can't beat the view and outdoor space, and if you are prepared to have groceries and prepare meals (not have to run around to restaurants/grocery stores) you'll be comfortable and enjoy it! There are just a few disconnects, including the note about not using glass around the hot tub (which is obvious), but there are not any plastic alternatives available. There is nothing like enjoying a glass of wine with that setting! Host should consider supplying durable re-usable plastic drinkware. We would have preferred not looking at the TRX exercise equipment on the patio. I was surprised that we had to open up all the outdoor shutters. It would have been a bigger 'wow' factor if everything was opened up for us at arrival. While the Host sent a bunch of information and details about the stay right after we booked, we could use a little more information about how to use features of the apartment, including electricity constraints, how to use hot tub and sauna. Host was available for questions, but I felt that explicit details were missing. For Americans in particular, the electricity and garbage sorting instructions may be a little confusing - but that's Italy.

Amazing facilities and view. Alexander was always available online in real time. He always has great suggestions about shopping and activities in the area.

That we had to leave after our stay. 😉

The view was outstanding couldn’t ask for any better view and the aircon throughout was fantastic

There was no breakfast the location view was outstanding but to high up if you had no car. There was no one to meet us and explain how things worked and were. Only one set of towels and in one bedroom towels were very small. Pillows were uncomfortable. No toaster. We had to work out how the jucuzi worked as we weren’t shown. It would have been far better if host had been there to explain everything to us. We were there from Wednesday to Saturday and only 2 coffee pods were provided, it just seemed that things were unkept. The washing room was under water which was flowing into the garage and we are not italian to couldn’t understand the instructions. Alexander was very helpful over what’s app but was not there in person to meet us.

Terrace was great for a group to chill, read, enjoy the amazing view and a hot tub to top it all!
